I have bought this product again and again but now it's gone
I have had so many compliments over the years when wearing Tsar. Still have long time friends commenting on how wonderful I smelt when I used to use it. Gave me a sense of confidence when I was at work or socialising.

I would buy this product forever!!
It's the only cologne I have used for over 25 years. I am so deeply disappointed it has been discontinued! PLEASE BRING IT BACK! I have often received compliments when wearing it, especially from women. I love the aftershave balm in particular and also use the cologne regularly. I bought a lot before production stopped and will continue to use it until I run out, though sparingly to make it last!

Why on earth was Tzar by Van Cleef and Arples discontinued?
What a shame this gorgeous cologne has been discontinued. Been using it for 20 odd years but won't buy any V.C.Arples again as it doesn't have the same wow factor as Tsar. BIG mistake to disconnect the Tzar product!!

Started using this when it first came out back, very nice
This is great but I believe it's a knock off brand now that the original manufacture (Van Cleef & Arpels) quit making it. Still smell great but not the way it use too.

I'm so surprised when a one of my friends told my the amount of compliments and reactions he received from this cologne. I finally bought a bottle and wow...the reaction was astounding. I lady friend of mine who hadn't seen me in awhile hugged me took one whiff...she stepped back and straight had a bowel movement. She apologized but that was priceless.

I DO BUY THIS PRODUCT OVER AND OVER AGAIN
I love this, have been using it for over 1o years now, I wear it daily. the best thing about it is that when you start to over heat then it actually becomes more fragrant. I constantly have woman stop me and ask if they can smell me. I always smile and say sure :)

I can't stand it.
I just got the little sample bottle because I wasn't sure. This scent was alright at first--just alright, though. However, after about an hour, it changed to a kind of weird underarm odour. I tried it again 2 days later, you know, to give it a fair chance, but I got that same I-haven't-showered-all-week vibe. So, this just doesn't work for me. I'm glad I only bought the sample. I've sent it flying off to Cologne Heaven.

It's very specific smell. It's old fashioned. If yiu're classic men, you'll like it. But don't press the bottom to much time, because than yiu'll be a real scent boom.
