About Yves Saint Laurent

Yves Saint Laurent History and background of Yves Saint Laurent. Born in 1936, Yves Saint Laurent grew up in Oran, Algeria. At 17, he left for Paris where he showed his drawings to Michel de Brunhoff, director of Vogue, who published several of them immediately. A friend's husband wore this when we went out to dinner one night and I complimented him on it, asking what it was. The next time I went shopping I looked for it and bought a bottle for my husband. My only complaint is that he doesn't wear it often enough. Everything else he wears is just blah, so-so, and I am totally unimpressed. But as soon as he puts this on, I get a smile on my face and always compliment him; which surprises him since he claims he can't smell it. In fairness, he doesn't smell anything else that he wears either. But others do notice and LIKE the Kouros. It's just a great cologne!!

      My husband has used this since he was in high school. It is not easy to find and the kiosks in the mall are the only places i can find the cologne. As much as they say they are the least expensive, what I know to be true is Frangrance X has a much better price. In this case i saved over 12 dollars... and no shipping!! GREAT
