Not even close to SURFACE
Does anyone know why Aramis discontinued SURFACE? What were they thinking?! I purchased LIFE for my husband because I read that it was close to Surface - it came nowhere near the clean fresh scent of Surface and in fact we did not like the scent at all.

fresh and light.
It's really a nice fragrance. it's light , fresh and doesn't over power what else is in the room. it's especially good for casual settings, though it fit's in almost anywhere.

Awesome scent

Exactly what I wanted
This was one of a few places that has this product. It was the cheapest also. I contacted the manufacturer and they said that one can only get this product internationally. I was very disappointed.

Husband Favorite!
This my Husband's favorite scent. Hard to find, Aramis needs to put this #1 fragrance back into production and keep it there! I tested other scents for hours in stores looking for one that was similar and CAN'T find one that compares! This is a sexy scent that quite honestly smells like an invitation when my Husband is wearing it. He is sure to get his way when he wishes while wearing Aramis Life! They should have named it Aramis Sex, because that would be more suitable. Don't know if they put pheramones in this cologne, but I wouldn't doubt it! Hubby gets many compliments on this when wearing, not just from me! Lock it up ladies.... don't let hubby wear this one out and about without you, it's sure to attract others! Aramis needs to wake up and realize this is a cologne that needs to be a permanent staple in their line. My Husband used to wear Eternity... like for an Eternity, until finding Aramis Life. He would wear this forever if we can still get it!

This seems to be liked by Ladies who mainly think it smells great and if it attracts them then it's good enough for me! I would suggest though that not to much is used then you get an understated but attractive fresh smell

Didn't know this was available!
I didn't realize that there was a shower gel for this product until I searched this site. Most men don't know that using the shower gel prior to the cologne is the way layer the scent and make it last longer throughout the day.

Another Classic by Aramis!!
Aramis will be making another mistake if they discontinue this cologne, just like their previous cologne Havana, which was a fragrance that took you back to a place you have never been, this cologne reminds you of a time that you have yet to experience. It will be missed....

This is STILL my favorite Cologne....
It's interesting..... Either I am behind the ball on many things after they lose their momentum, or I instinctually stay with things that are truly good for their own sake, as opposed to what is "hot". I LOVE this cologne. Mostly because it smells distinctive. Let's face it. Most fragrances are just rehashings of other recipes. This one has its own scent. It's sweet, but not overly; fresh and soft, yet still masculine (so many colognes smell feminine these days!!!); and it stays on you all day..... Perfect for casual day or evening fun. I even wear it to work once in a while. It is oddly and uniquely a masculine smell, yet is ever so slightly soft....maybe this is why many men didn't take to it? It stands alone as something between the very harsh traditional masculine scents, and those which are quite perfumey, which oddly seems to be the trend these days...... It's just a great balanced cologne....Very adaptable to any atmosphere, sturdy and long lasting...
