Classic freshness
This is your throwback freshie with juniper and oakmoss. Smells clean and refreshing which makes it good for any occassion from office, gym even black tie. I love the old world feel givsn theres not much freshies in the 80s but if they did thia is how it would be and it does not smell dated.

This is one of the best colognes for men. It is in league with CD Eau Sauvage, Armani Pour Homme, CD Diorella, Quartz Molineux. This is an underrated citrus cologne from the 90's but smells really like a classic from earlier decades. If it was created in 1881, this would be so expensive. I have two bottles of this. It is a favorite l just discovered recently since it is similar to CD Eau Sauvage that l enjoyed in the 80's. This time l got this as a Christmas present for my brother who wears Armani Pour Homme, also a similar fragrance. I am positive that he will enjoy this as well.

This is my second purchase as a backup. A retro 90's masterpiece in league with CD Eau Sauvage. This is a cleaner version of those from the 60's, 70's and 80's with similar scents/same family. I will always have this in my collection. It gives me a feeling of aristocratic gentlemen from the 1800's. Great fragrance. One of the best l've discovered

Smelled this stuff years ago and somehow got lost in the shuffle of time.I bought it this summer was not remotely disappointed but pleasantly surprised.WOW.Amazing scent citrus scent at the start,with warm spicy thing coming in and a more wood base I'm not scent expert but this is pure class for a real man.Like so many other Italian scents this is great and more original than many out there.

Quite the Transition
When I first tried this cologne, much like another reviewer, I was reminded of soap. It's not unpleasant, it's very clean. But it was unexpected, and not really the smell I was looking for. Thankfully, it's only really present in the top note, and the cologne quickly changes into something much more enjoyable. I've come to appreciate this transition. On initial application, it smells like you've just gotten out of the shower. Half an hour later, it still smells fresh, but without the soapy memories. I was also surprised by just how long lasting this cologne is. Fourteen hours after a single application in the morning, and there are still traces of it. My advice would be to try not to be put off by the initial soapiness, if that's how the cologne smells to you when you first apply it. Try it on your wrist, and re-smell half an hour later.
