Vicky Tiel began creation of perfumes in the 1990s, but she is also widely noted for bringing the miniskirt into popular fashion during the 1960s. During this time, she also opened a boutique in Paris which became a hotspot for celebrities of the day. Tiel graduated from Parsons School of Design where she gained notice for her sensual fashions that focused on making women feel comfortable in their bodies, and she eventually designed costumes for Woody Allen’s What’s New, Pussycat? as well as for Pretty Woman. Tiel is also credited for designing Elizabeth Taylor’s signature caftan style dress, and released a biography in 2011 titles It’s All About the Dress. Unexpected Surprize!
Ulysse took me by surprize. I thought it would be a cologne that would last a short time but it lasted me all day and what great compliments I received! It has a very unique scent that really makes a woman want to start a nice conversation with you. Put this one on you "buy" list.

Ulysse cologne
Ulysse isn't a too popular scent. I've found good reviews about it on fragrantica, so I decided to buy it. When it arrived and I tried Ulysse, the first sniff made me amazed. It's a very pleasant , sweet, floral, citrusy aromatic, a little bit spicy scent. The opening seems a little harsh but quickly settles down. The mignotette note is so fine in it with the carnation. Till the drydown it stays fresh and candy-like sweet , still masculine. I wish it lasted longer. I like it very much in summertime. Ulysse is worth its price.

This is a really great cologne.
I really like this for a nice change of pace. Or anytime you want to smell like a million bucks. This cologne is very clean, and smells exotic. FragranceX has GREAT service.

This is my new fall favorite
Oh yeah, it smells like it cost a lot of money, but really it is very low cost. I had never heard of Vicky Tiel before. Ulysse is a gift from the gods! It opens very fresh and bright. The neroli(which I love) permeates the composition. The heart becomes very traditional. Spicy, creamy carnation, hawthorn, lavender and exotic woods(they are so fantastic)! It closes like a traditional fougere with some coumarin, oakmoss and vanilla. I would call it a "post aquatic". It moves beyond description. PURE ART! It works in all weather and time of day. Yes, its sexy, yet not loud. It whispers for hours and hours 8+.

Wonderful longevity...
I didnt expect much given the price, but it was the design of the bottle that lured me into trying it out...I was PLEASANTLY surprised, really I was. Vicky Tiel has an incredible resume in the fashion World. Her journey into perfumes and more specifically, colognes, was a very impressive one. I LOVE THIS FRAGRANCE.

This is just me
I have been using this cologne for the past 8 years. It makes me feel proud when people ask me what I am wearing and I said Ulysse, they could not believe and said that I am always joking for the simply reason that is also my name "Ulysse G. Charles"....This cologne represent exactly who I am and I know nothing can't be compared to it.

Long time favorite cologne!
I have been purchasing this cologne for my husband for many years now and still have not found any fragrance that he or I like better. It's not overpowering unlike many other men's colognes and scent lasts throughout day and night. Big fan of this product!
