Pierre Balmain is a fashion designer from France that is known for creating elegant designs. He was born to a family already established in the fashion and design industry. His mother and sister ran a fashion boutique, and his father owned a drapery business. He originally worked for famous fashion house, Molyneux, followed by Lucien Lelong. He opened his own fashion house at the end of World War Ii. He has been offering fragrances under his own name since the 1940s. While he passed away in 1982, many of his fashions and fragrances continue to be produced. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

This is the closest thing to the classic GUCCI pour homme I have found. Boozy, but in a sophisticated way. Definitely a cooler month frag, but also great on a night out. If you like light, fresh and airy... this is not for you. It's got a sophisticated, unique, mysterious vibe to it. Incense, pepper, fig, wood, pencil shavings.

RARE AMBER
I've found a new favorite. Very dressy. Elegant & sophisticated.Perfect for an evening out an Opera debut.The ladies turn-around w/this fragrance for sure. Will not go unnoticed. Settles down a bit powdery; the complex mix w/ tobacco makes it quite masculine. I say this because I've never preferred ambery/powdery/heavy Vanilla/Tonka notes.I understand that's a trend; just like Leather was in the past, but I still prefer "The Classics" even the newer versions.

Good smell
Perfume delicious, liked. I have to make a record because I had to pay a fee beyond the amount I had already paid for the product, it did not happen in previous shipment of another product I bought with you, made me very sad because it was an expense that had the most .

just great
pencil shavings followed by strong pepper notes and some resins. Due to the pepper making the juice more transparent, at times you may think that it;s gone from your skin but it still actually projects. Longevity is very good as well. Good for daily use and also for special ocasions (at a smart outfit).

Elegant creation
This fragrance based on peppery spicy notes with nice woody / herbal base. It remindes just a little bit of "Encre Noir" by Lalique during developing and has in the middle stage strange smell like peppery spicy beef steak that fotunately desapears very quickly. Carbone has a dark character ,charcoal with pencil shaving notes. It's very safe elegant fragrance and sits close to skin, so its great for office too. Longevity and sillage unfortunately almost average. Not bad at all! :)

Carbone is nice fragrance that could be a lot better... At times it can smell musty & synthetic, like PUIG'S Quorum, but that said I will wear it but only in a business/conservative enviorment.; where one would wear small amounts of colonge.
