Molinard is an historic French perfume house launched in Grasse in 1849. This company is one of the oldest family-run fragrance companies still in operation today. The company originally began by producing flower-scented waters known as Eaux de Fleurs. The brand gained popularity during the 1860s after it produced two innovative perfumes in elegant bottles.

The company expanded its enterprise in 1900 by purchasing a perfume factory designed by Gustave Eiffel. A showroom was opened to host the brand’s numerous wealthy and royal customers.
