First released in April of 2007, Alahine is the third fragrance by the French design house Teo Cabanel. The Cabanel company was originally founded in 1893, and reestablished in 2005 by perfumier and businesswoman Caroline Ilacqua (nee Moncouqut). Other popular women's fragrances under the label include Oha (2005), Meloe (2008), Early Roses (2010) and Lace Garden (2015). All products are original, authentic name brands. A New Love
My most loved fragrance has been reformulated once too often. The company itself has changed hands. That perfume was Bal a Versailles. I looked for a fragrance that could replace BaV in my affections. Alahine (Ella-een) has the vibe, the essence of the old BaV without being as floral or indolic. She speaks of the Orient. This is the classiest number I have ever worn, the quality sings, the bottle is gorgeous, the spray unit is luxurious. I was very happy to find it available on FX because Teo Cabanel is a niche house. I may try the others. 5 platinum stars.

One of my top four scents!
This is simply the most gorgeous soft elegant amber you'll ever try. It is definitely class in a bottle.
