Molinard History and background of Molinard. Maison MOLINARD, founded in 1849 in Grasse (the birthplace of the worldwide perfume industry) in the Provence region of southern France, has remained an entirely family-run business right through to the present day.     The bottle is different from what is advertised. i bought this perfume sometime ago from a little french boutique in san diego, ca. i loved the bottle and rec'd great compliments when i would were this perfume. i still have it and use is sparingly because the boutique shut down and i moved to texas. when i saw it online, i decided to order it, however the bottle was different and the scent was somewhat different as well.
