Libertine Perfume by Vivienne Westwood, Libertine perfume is a scent that works well when you need a fresh, light fragrance. The perfume delivers a spring-like feel. The name suggests unrestrained by convention, and the scent delivers an understated floral chypre. The top notes combine pineapple, grapefruit and passionfruit. The heart center notes blend rose, lily of the valley, bergamot and honeysuckle. The base includes chypre notes of patchouli, oak moss, sensual musk, labdanum and amber. This fragrance was inspired by the English monarchy and history. This scent was launched in 2000, designed by Martin Gras. The perfume works well as a light daytime fragrance or as a subtle scent for weekend outings. It comes in a beautifully crafted bottle.

Vivienne Westwood is a British fashion designer. In 1971, she began designing clothes, and her creations introduced punk fashions to the world. Interesting

Feels like coming out of a shower, clean, fresh, feminine, subtle & warm. May be unique as a perfume, not so unique as a scent because of its "soap-clean" quality; would need more edge to make it a "libertine". The bottle looks great, would make a safe gift choice too.

LIBERTINE PERFUME

I LOVE THIS PERFUME AND FIND DIFFICULT TO BUY IN THE UK, SO WHEN I FOUND IT ON FRAGRANCE X I BOUGHT 3 BOTTLES.IT A BEAUTIFUL SMELL AND WEAR IT ALL THE TIME. FRAGRANCE X IS A SAFE SITE TO BUY FROM AND WILL DEFINATELY BUY FROM THEM AGAIN. MANY THANKS CAROL HEDIVAN ( UK )

"Sexy, Stylish & Exciting"

Libertine was recommended to me by a good friend, every since first smelling the fragrance i have fallen in love with it. Everytime i wear it, i receive compliments about how fab it smells, it makes me feel great!!!!

Crazy-sexy

I bought Libertine for my wife about 7 years ago and it still drives me crazy with desire. I am on a lifetime hunt for the perfect scent, both for her and me, and believe, when it comes down to it, there aren't that many good ones out there. Then out of the good ones, there are only couple that you want to smell like on a full-time basis. And even less that you both can agree on! Libertine is only one of two perfums that we have found like that. (The other one is Cerruti 1881 for women). Libertine is clean, not too sweet and very unusual. Highly recommended.

A fruity little number.

I bought this for my wife.It's a nice fragrance to wear daily but also for informal evenings.So she tells me.I like it on her.The description says floral but I find it to be sweet but not in a bad way.Maybe it's just my nose!

An unique scent for a unique woman

I wear the sensuous,understated, floral chypre -type Libertine all the time. It is unique. It is not really very modern, it is not trendy, it is simply unique. I personally like it because the fragrance and the natural smell of my own skin ( slightly fruity ) just blend well. I feel this perfume perfectly suits my personality, evoking images of a free, slightly rebellious, sensuous, funny, multi-faceted female, who reflects life like a prism. Libertine is very subtle, and it never smells cheap, which is an added bonus. When I'm wearing it,I get compliments all the time, from both women and men. The compliments usually come with a surprised smile: " Wow, what is that wonderful fragrance you're wearing?!" My husband loved Libertine from day one. An ideal celebrity Libertine girl: Gwen Stefani, no doubt:!!

Just enough!

I really enjoy her "Let it Rock" perfume and wanted to try a summery scent. It was perfect. Not too flowery, citrusy, as if trying to be a younster but a more sohisticated, worldly scent. Just as her "Let it Rock" scent has a mystery about it, so does this Libertine. I could wear it all the time, casual or dressier but a good warm-weather scent all around.
