Jean had previously worked with fashion house Yves Saint Laurent, where he was instrumental in launching Ysl Parfums and that line’s signature offering, Rive Gauche. THIS IS MY 'GO TO' PERFUME FOR ALL OCCASIONS
I discovered this gorgeous perfume in the 80's while holidaying in America. It's never been available in NZ. This is my 'go to' perfume, I'd bathe in it if I could afford to. It has become dearer, but what hasn't? I just LOVE it.

Love Coriandre and have worn it for many years.
I have worn this perfume for years. Lately however, I've only been able to find it in the Toilette spray and not the parfum. Please find more of the parfum and the various other items they make. Your selection is extremely limited.

Citrusy with spicy undertones
I would use these on my Pulse points. Haven't really use this perfume yet for the day to give an opinion on it's endurance.

The formulation of the original Coriandre must have changed
I bought this fragrance 18 years ago and fell in love. The original version had 'staying' power; the herbal scent was pronounced, it was not as powdery, and had much more longevity. The Coriandre tester version I purchased here disappeared in moments, meaning the scent was gone within a minute or two. The tester version I bought on this site reminds me more of linen spray: the scent disappears almost instantly. The fragrance is lovely, but it evaporates very, very quickly.

Something new...
Crisp, green, aromatic and simply lovely...Coriandre remains one of my favorites ... I honestly don't think it smells at all like Soir de Lune or Agent Provocateur... Coriandre remains in a class all by itself because of its uniqueness...

Not as I expected
I was excited to try this fragrance after sampling it many years ago in Selfridges, London. However, it is not as I remembered it. Whether the formula has changed or this is slightly spoiled and old stock, I'm not sure. It's very green, zesty and sharp, no sweetness or softness to balance it at all and without the fresh fruity notes that I remembered. It's wearable once it warms up on your skin and chemistry, and the deeper Chypre notes come through but it's not something I would purchase again.

This one was disappointing, it is practically undetectable... and what does come through is the floral with a whiff of BO-like note from the coriander.

MMMMM! Spicy! Muy Calientè!
I picked up a 3.4oz. bottle of this way back in the late 1980's from Pic n'Save (now Big Lots). I fell in love as soon as I tried it in the store! I thought, "Holy Cow! Someone made a perfume for thos jeans and t-shirt days!" it only lasted me a year because I wore it so much! It's spicy and feminine and warm! It's Summer in a bottle when you're stuck in the house in Winter! Just put a bottle in my cart!

Classic chypre
I discovered this last year when l was researching chypres for women wearable by men. This is a unisex masculine scent in today's standards. I ordered one last year, the EdP. It is true that a man can wear it today. Absolutely 100% unisex, even masculine. I particularly like the green notes. Both genders complimented me when l wear this. I am happy l have this.

Beautiful Chypre with great tenacity
Having liked this very much a few decades ago, I was pleased to find it still smells great. An older school fresh and green chypre, very elegant. Complex and well blended. Long lasting. Probably suitable for most occasions. Quite strong so don't be heavy handed, but fine for work with that caveat. Especially cool and fresh for warmer weather. If you like things like Ma Griffe you can't go wrong with this beauty,

Old rose and spices - lovely
I've gone back to Coriandre many times over a long life; it's unusual - interesting (can you say that about a fragrance to wear?). I hadn't used it for years, then found it here at a really good price, thought I'd give it a try. I have to say that the first few seconds were rather overpowering and I thought I wasn't going to like it, but then it settled into a lovely mix of old-fashioned rose with warm spices, and it stays like that for a long time. A really good everyday perfume; not intrusive, doesn't pick fights, very pleasant, happy-making.

So affordable green chypre
How incredibly cheap this fragrance is. It's not as strong as the Sisley but if you don't want to spend a lot on a frag this is very nice, distinctive and office friendly for the heavy sprayers like me. Clean, fresh, soapy green chypre.

Too strong for me
Unfortunately it's a very overpowering spicy ( coriander?) smell. Excellent hold though. I alway use ' Paloma Picasso' and 'Calvin Klein's Euphoria' and would have welcomed something different.

WAY better than expected!!
I remember this from my youth and it DOES smell the same or even BETTER than I remembered. It is a lovely fresh perfume, very enjoyable to wear and does draw lots of compliments. Beautiful.
