A vintage signature fragrance, Bellodgia was presented in 1927 and is rich, sexy and strong. It was designed by French perfumer Ernest Daltroff, who founded the house of Caron in 1904 with his brother. The son of Russian Jewish immigrants, Daltroff is said to have developed a love of perfume from his mother. When he fled France to escape the Nazis, he entrusted his company to Felicie Wanpouille, his ambitious artistic adviser with whom he was secretly in love. The absolutly best fragrance in the world.
I think this is the most heavenly fragrance ever, I hope they get it in stock. I am using Fluer de Rochaille,because I can't get the Bellodgia and love the scent, but Bellogia is Caron best ever! My mother named me after the perfume. Caron Sue and that was 79 years ago.

the real thing!
this is a great classic perfume with history. I have always loved the richness of it's scent and have often been complimented after using it. It has a lushness and that touch of spice it emits is just right. It's perfect for me and combines the kind of scents that suits my classic but adventurous sensibilities.

Loyalty to a brand for 40 years!!!
I have always had to search for this perfume and have been known to fly to Paris to buy it....then I discovered it on FragranceX. I am forever grateful to them and to their commitment to keep stocking it. I simply cannot use anything else.

Ordered blind!
I was looking for a replacement from L'heure Bleu; although I love this, it can be a bit overpowering and I wanted something more wearable. Fragrance with carnation can be difficult to find. I searched around and came up with this one, but it was quite expensive, and I was reluctant to buy it at full price, in case I didn't like it. Fragrance X was 1/2 the price of other retailers, and was delivered to my desk in the UK within 3 days. I do like it very much; it is a more wearable option to the Guerlain perfumes, and I can use it all day. It smells quite different to the run-of-the-mill "designer scents". I would like to try other scents from the Caron stable, and will look to FrangranceX first

Finding Bellodgia!
Years ago I was introduced to the wonderfully subtle carnation fragrance of Bellodgia by Caron and happily used it, and got compliments about it, for years. Then it became virtually impossible to find in stores until I discovered it again on the FragranceX website. Thank you!

Gorgeous spicy carnation!
I find this to be a perfect, warm spicy scent featuring carnations! I fell in love at first spritz & adore this scent all the way to the last moments... many hours later. A beautiful rendition of carnations - I haven't smelled one better! I generally prefer jasmine-based floral orientals like Samsara, but this exemplifies all that I love about the peppery, warm scent of carnations. Caron's Parfum Sacre is beautiful, but Bellodgia I simply adore!! My newest favourite!

Nostalgic fragrance
This fragrance brings back memories of my great aunt. It was her signature fragrance and now it is mine. It's very long-lasting -- I put it on this morning and can still smell it at night. It's a classic!

AT LONG LAST
My aunt and I have searched for this fragrance for years now. I gave her a bottle when I was a teenager and my Uncle bought her many more after that and then it was gone. A couple of years ago a fast talking salesman tried to convince me that his Bellodgia was the same but I knew better so I searched some more and found you. My Uncle has since died and so I sent this to my Aunt and she was elated. Her daughter said "Mom it smells just like it was yesterday when I remember you wearing this." Thank you for making my Christmas for her.

For the vintage fragrance lover.....
This is a fragrance that is unique because it is very old and hard to find. It's lovely and feminine and reminds me of a bygone era when the world was a kinder, gentler place. I wear it for all occasions and the floral scent never becomes boring.

I love it
I used this produce many years ago but had forgotten the name until I found Fragrance X and started through the alphabet - fortunately it was B. I spray a little on my neck in the am and then later in the day if going out spray a little more. Many compliments like "What is that lovely scent?" and "I have never heard of it?" to "Where can I buy it. Thank you - I love it.
