Still my favorite!
I have been using Pavlova for at least twenty five years. I use other ( mostly floral) scents as well but I am always confidant with Pavlova! I don't like scents that overpower. When I use a perfume, I like it when others compliment me and I don't smell it on myself unless I put my wrist to my nose.

That bottle was SO SMALL....it's a trial size. I consider it to be pricey for the size of the bottle that you receive.

vintage fragrance
well, this is a "not for everybody" fragrance, it is a vintage perfume, so it doesn't smell like most modern perfumes. It is not light, I just remember what types of fragrances my gramma used: intense, heavy scents, just drop of it was enough to smell. Pavlova is that type of old fragrance. For a very special occasions, I reckon...

Wanted to get acquainted with the classical Cologne and bought this fragrance relying only on reviews. Well, I have not lost! The aroma is very blagorodnymi bitter start on me sounds nice honey notes.

PAVLOVA perfume by Payot
I ordered this because I was in the mood for a perfume and thought this one I had used in the past ~ many years ago. I don't know if I was mistaken or what, but don't like this. It's fragrance is just QUESTIONABLE, in my opinion. Don't know if I'll even use it ~ or try to give it away!

the photo in the ad is of the parfum yet you say toilet water. you should put the plain white bottle like the one I received, I wondered why parfum was only under $5.00. usually Pavlova perfume is $30.00 or more. I was very disappointed in the quality as the scent disappeared in less than 5 minutes. If you have the perfume, I would be interested.

No longer produced by Payot, Pavlova is still a nice scent but it's not the same, a bit overwhelming as compared to the original and it lacks both subtlety and complexity.

sentimental journey
This was a rare treat as I worked for Payot in London in the sixties and found the experience rather nostalgic, at the same time was able to have a miniature which I gave to my daughter who is a ballerina, wonderful !!!!!!!!

A true floral perfume lovers delight. Captivating without being overly intrusive, modulated by hints of moss. If you love tuberose and are a true romantic, this is for you. The bottle is magnificent; Anna Pavlova poised as the dying swan from "Swan Lake" is the cap; bottle strewn with roses. Nice in every way but I wish it were the original formula. I was lucky to be able to actually compare the two.
