Launched in 1951, Max Mara is a classic Italian fashion launched by the great-grandson of the famous fashion designer Marina Rinaldi. Achille Maramotti sought to follow his family’s footsteps and pursued a career in haute couture. Despite completing law school, Maramotti proved himself to be a forward-thinking manufacturer of women’s fashion. His earliest designs were highly popular and soon took over the market.
Throughout the 1960s, the company expanded and continued to develop. During this time, the company moved its headquarters to London where the industry was thriving. Classic and Clean Scent
I bought the whole MaxMara line because I initally bought the original Maxmara which I like. FragranceX's prices [...] were great. When I tried MaxMara Gold, it reminded me of an evening on the town. I find MaxMara Gold strong at first but as it wears it is very alluring. This one is for special occasions.

This is one of the best.Many compliments, and has a feel good factor. One spray on my pillow at night,sleep with beautiful aroma for relaxation. Smells expensive and sensual. Men love it!

a special delivery that made my day
In a department store and on a whim I sprayed this fragrance on my wrist. I couldn't stop sniffing my wrist all day. I had to have this fragrance -I love this fragrance but I didn't want to pay [$]for it. I paid about a third of the price - bargain. I'm wearing it right now.
