Not the silver top (2007) version
I was hoping it would be the older 2007 version of this fragrance as was pictured in the order but unfortunately it's the 2015 version which is less woody and spicy and more powdery. Still a great smell, but I preferred the original

I found that this particular CH perfume (note: it is the original perfume, with silver cap and silver 'CH' initials) very light, with citrusy and leathery accords, but short lasting. However, I would recommend anyone who is not familiar with the perfumes by Carolina Herrera to sample it at the store first before your 1st purchase.

I have been wanting to purchase this fragrance for a while! The price was a deal here and it was not a knock off!! this is the only place i buy fragrance online. When i just started using the perfume it was a bit strong but after a while i got use to it. I am not accustom to using strong perfume, must of what i wear usually go by before midday. I love to wear Ch Carolina Herrara every morning before I head out on my drive to another town to teach. My boyfriend notices right away when I have it on and he always compliments me on the scent. I think he enjoys it as much as myself, as he takes a whiff under my neck then gives me a tight hug and warm kiss. I think it's really important that the scent lasts through the whole day and even into the evening.
