About Lolita Lempicka

Lolita Lempicka History and background of Lolita Lempicka. Fashion houses are often named after their founding designer, but Josiane Pividal went about it differently. In 1983 Josiane and her husband Joseph, an interior designer, created their label, "Lolita Lempicka", in homage to Nabokov's novel and to the painter Tamara de Lempicka. I have never had a perfume that has received such positive comments. I had a gentleman standing behind me in a line, that said, " I could stand behind you forever, your perfume is wonderful." When I hang up my clothes in the evening, a very faint scent of Lolita Lempicka clings to them, it is still magic for me, even though I have been wearing it for three weeks now. It is lovely and subtle, a really magic perfume. No one knows what it is, unlike many of the more popular perfumes that frequently are used so commonly that you can not use them as your own signature scent.

    This is very similar to original in purple bottle - a bit lighter, a little greener - almost the same dry down - Love both!
