Slightly different from the original
I used Alliage back in the early 70s and recall loving it. This current one has something missing but I can't describe what that is. Overall, it's similiar, though, and if you liked the original, this one should be okay.

The box doesn't even look like the original Aliaj. It appears to be a knock off. It doesn't even hold the scent. Very disappointed.

Unfortunately, the smell is not good and very disappointing. It is not the same as the old beautiful smell, but the name was exploited and sold at a high price, and I was disappointed by your site, whose documentation was shaken to me. I hope not to buy and I do not recommend it.

It's Not The Same
Aliage was my scent during my youth. The scent is so unique and provacative. It was discontinued and I had been looking quite awhile for it when I stumbled across Aliage Sport. Disappointingly it does not last long and after the initial similarity to Aliage, it changes after it's been on skin quickly. Unfortunately I sent it back, and FragraceX gave me a free label and a refund without any issues.

Aliage is just the best Estee Lauder fragrance ever! I wore it constantly during the 1970s and scrounged around forever trying to find some here and there when I was traveling. I have written to Estee Lauder about it and have been told they will not bring it back....why I have no idea! I have so many happy memories of events and places and people...a whiff of Aliage is just the best thing ever!

This is my all time favorite fragrance. My Mom used it. And I still use it, when I can find it. And the Men go crazy over it. I have so many Great memories, when I wore this. Yes, please stock this & the talc powder too. Come on everybody, let's get Estée Lauder to bring it back.

Tennis and Aliage
Aliage was my tennis fragrance I wore on all my tennis dates. Yes, the guys kept coming back asking me to play. Hot and humid this scent stayed true and not overpowering. I still play tennis and want this fragrance back. Please stock!

Aliage - my favourite
I started wearing Aliage when it first appeared in Canada in the very early 1970's. It became my favourite for summer. Then we seemed to have lost it in the mid '80's howere I did find some in Nassau so on each visit I'd purchase 2or 3 bottles. Then it was gone. In 1987 while in Harrod's in England I asked if they might have some...they did, 2bottles. I bought both. That was the last time I've found it anywhere until just now on this site, except it's out of stock. With luck I'll have some again in the not to distant future because there are only a few fragrances I can wear and they are all Estee!

I have fond memories of this perfume.
I have been searching for this perfume forever!! It was the first perfume I owned as a young adult, and my husband bought it for me. I loved it so much, I used it for everything. then one Christmas everyone I knew bought it for me, and believe me, I used every last drop. I always knew what my husband was getting me for one of my Christmas gifts, then he shockingly passed away . I haven't had any since. I want it back so bad. Such fond memories of this perfume. Puts me in a happy place. I can't find it.

Greatest Scent Ever!!!
I have worn this fragrance since the early 70's. It was the original "sports" cologne. Everytime I wear this wonderful scent, I am asked "What are you wearing???". I am so happy to find Aliage again, as it was placed on the MIA list. Now, if I could only find the sparkling body powder!!!

Summer Scent
I first tried this scent about 25 years ago, and it is just the perfect summer perfume; reminds me of the smell of just-mown grass. I even had a McDonalds teenage-counter person ask what the scent was - how's that for a testimonial. It is still kind of hard to find, and FragranceX is alway out of it; when they get it in - grab it.

The best summertime perfume EVER

Memories of youth
I used to love this fragance 30+ years ago but haven't been able to buy it in Australia for years. Would look for it when we travelled to the States. Delighted to track it down on Fragrancex. A lovely lemony fresh fragrance for our hot weather here.
