Best perfume ever!
I fell in love with this perfume the very first time I smelled it in my early 20's and used it everyday. I received so many compliments from both men and women. I am still so disappointed that it's still discontinued and no one has recreated it. I have yet to find a replacement perfume and I'm in my 40's now. It's so frustrating to know you found the perfect perfume for yourself and you will never be able to get it again.

I JUST WISH I COULD STILL GET IT
I HAVE MANY ALLERGIES AND THIS NEVER BOTHERED ME! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS FRAGRANCE. EVERYONE WOULD ASK WHAT I HAD ON. I AM SO SAD THEY NO LONGER MAKE IT AND WISH IT WOULD COME BACK. I HAD TRIED ON THE INTERNET AND ALL TO FIND IT. :-(

I absolutely am saddened they discontinued this amazing fragrance...I got sooo many compliments wearing it...I can't believe it's gone and don't understand why??..I wish VS would return this truly lovely perfume.. it was my all-time favorite!! I loved it so! I know I wore it in the 90's... And I have a "..Remember where you were moment in time". That is truly memorable when a fragrance or a memory of a scent can trigger such nostalgic emotions ... PLEASE COME BACK!! I wear Beautiful by EL now,,but Encounter is unforgettable...

Best Perfume Ever!
The best perfume I ever Wear. I was crazy about it. I even went to U.S. to get it one time and those outlets near Niagara Falls. So sad when they discontinued and I can't find it at the stores anymore. I just love it. How can they bring this perfume back, please...can we ask for this again..

Why won't VS bring this back?
This was discontinued over a decade ago, but as seen here women continue to ask for it. I even sent an email to VS to bring it back so we can all stock up and they can discontinue again if they wish! Why won't they listen? Surely someone, somewhere, must still have the formula for this perfume. I've not been able to find anything like it after all these years. Come on! If everyone here bombards VS with emails asking for it, who knows, they might listen.

This scent was so alluring and sensual. My friends and family called it my signature scent. It was just "me". I have never found another that I like as well or that got me so many compliments. I wear Rapture now-but desperately want to find Encounter again.

Bring it back with no changes
I LOVED this scent from the first time I "encountered" it through my coed daughter and her friends. I wore it myself in all its forms. When I taught college courses, there was never one session when someone didn't ask me during break what my wonderful scent was. Girls wanted it for themselves; guys wanted it for their girlfriends. In elevators, I always was asked for the name. I guess this cologne lived up to its name: it truly was an encounter for everyone who came into contact with it. I've never before and never since breathed anything as lovely as this scent and can't imagine what Victoria's Secret was thinking when they let it go.

PLEASE bring Encounter by Victoria Secrets back. It was my only favorite perfume. I bought the perfumes and the lotions. Everyone knew what to buy me for all occassions. I'm simply lost without it. Nothing out there compares to it. Please bring it back!!!!!

Most beautiful scent
This was my signature scent. I absolutely loved wearing encounter and miss it terribly. The closest scent to the beauty of encounter I can find is Bvlgari. Yet, there is still something missing. Please, victoria's secret-bring back encounter!

I was so sad when they ...
I was so sad when they discontinued this fragrance. It was the only perfume that i ever got compliments on. It has been over 3 years and I still cant find anything like this, I hope they bring it back someday
