Samba Star Perfume by Perfumers Workshop, Samba Star for women was launched in 2001. This sophisticated aroma is an eclectic blend of white and yellow florals with green tones throughout. Fruity ylang-ylang, apricot, gardenia, freesia, jasmine, lily-of-the-valley, narcissus and rose fill out this powdery fragrance. The base is warm and lasting.

The married team of designers Donald and Gun Bauchner wanted to recreate the perfume industry by giving consumers the ability to choose the ingredients of their own unique fragrances. This idea was especially popular throughout the 1970s among the hippies, and it proved to be a successful business design for the Bauchner’s company. The couple launched the Perfumers Workshop in 1971.

The company had counters in Bloomingdale’s department stores throughout America and launched additional boutiques in London and Paris. Ready-made scents were released in 1977 with great success. The first of these scents has sold millions of bottles, and over 50 additional perfumes and colognes have been created since. All products are original, authentic name brands.
