Weil was founded by 3 brothers in the year 1912 in France as a small family-owned company. The trio started out making fur products for the wealthy before they started offering perfumes in 1927. Their original thought was to develop scents for the furs and expanded to include normal perfumes as well. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

SAD VENUS
This item wasn't what we wxpected. It is ver, very SYNTHETIC smelling. Almost like a Bath deodorizer. That's why it was cheap(?) On the other hand; We've purchased other items by Weil in the past w/ no dissapointments. That's why we're dissapointed !!!

my sister used this in the 50s and this is not the same...they have changed the formula and I would like to get the original for her...

Too much and not enough bang
I think it's very Exotic but not strong enough it didn't last an hour very weak. I had afriend who has passed away and she had the oil.. which was very nice & lasting. You didn't have to use much and it stayed with you nicely. Maybe I can use this on my sheets. But would not buy again because I would have to take the bottle with me and use through-out the evening. Great price but very very weak product. If it were improved alot I might try one more time.

Not Real,I don't believe it
I was so disapointed .Your spray it and it is gone.It is soooo weak I will never buy it again I purchased two bottles of this and it does not have any smell to it.I put it on and only 10 minutes I asked some one how do you like it ,They said I don't smell any thing ,This is not the real thing.For Sure.

I was very disappointed that the fragrance is not the same as when I purchased it years ago. I even purchased a sample of Zibeline to see if that was the fragrance but it was wrong as well.

If you loved the original, run away from this. A young lady would find it romantic and perfect for her Prom. If you long for the original, try Salvatore Dali, Shalimar (not the light), Organza, or a bit more floral and less spice, but same head and mystery; Pavlova or Ombre Rose. House of Weil, what are you thinking??

If you liked the original, run away from this. But a young lady would find it just right. If you are over 21; avoid. It is nothing at all like the original. If you liked the original, try Dali, Shalimar (not the light), Organza, or a bit more floral, but same spice, head, and mystery; Pavlova. House of Weil, what are you thinking?

I also have worn this parfume for over 30yrs. Was given to me by my high school sweet heart/now husband. My last purchased was in Cancun about 5 yrs ago. Hopefully it will come back!!!

Certainly by all this positive feedback on this perfume Secret of Venus someone would put back into circulation and make a fortune. I miss the bath oil in particular. It is my all time favorite.

This fragrance was introduced to me as a little girl by a friend of my mothers. She would give me a hug and a kiss and leave me with this scent that I will never forget. I only wish I knew where I could find a bottle.

I just came across an unopened bottle of Secrets of Venus Antilope at my mothers house. She gave me that along with a bottle of just Secrets of Venus oil that was hers. The smell is unbelievable and it brought back memories of when my mother wore it year

The best fragrance ever invented. I started using Secret de Venus Pour de Bain in the late fifties and was later told that Zibeline replaced that original scent by the experts at I. Magnin & Co. (much before their closure). I have a life addiction to

My mother's best friend gave me a bottle of the bath oil for my sixteenth birthday. the fragrance is one of my favorites, rating up ther with Bal a Versaille. How sad that it's changed from the original.

I discovered Secret de Venus Pour de Bain (bath & body oil) in the 60's. That was the most glorious perfume I have ever found. When Weil added Zibeline it was less pleasing.

i went to school with a fried whose mother used to wear the oil and mix it in her jergens body lotion ..but i loved it from th emoment i smelled it in 1972 and i dont know why its no longer around..a real shame its on ebay for some ridulous amount of $599.

tHIS FRAGRANCE IS ONE OF THE BEST. IT IS NOT AN OVERWHELMING FRAGRANCE THAT MAKES ONE FEEL SICK. I HAVE USED THIS FRAGRANCE APPROXIMATELY 22 YEARS AND VERY DISAPPOINTED THEY HAVE DISCONTINUES THE BATH OIL. EVERYONE THAT TRIED THIS FRAGRANCE LOVED IT. I
