I smelled this fragrance back in the day in the 90's when it came out & liked it. This fragrance when I received it smelled old to me. It smelled off like a perfume you had for years sitting around. It is a great price as alot of Elizabeth Arden perfumes are but does not last that long. The fragrance is feminine & floral & pleasant if it did not smell old . I returned it.

This is very floral but not overwhelming. It's sophisticated scent. A great spring to summer fragrance. Very soft and romantic. At first spray it comes off strong but dissipates into a deep floral dry down. Always remember when purchasing scents, that your body chemistry has a lot to do with how the product is going to smell. You must wait for the dry down to get an accurate scent.

Takes me back in time!

I have been wearing True Love, all strengths, since the first year of introduction. It was instant attraction and a love affair of 30 years and still going strong. I can not seem to comprehend the decision to discontinue production. I do agree with one review, this formula has changed since the earliest release. Those slight changes were made to allow the EDT* to be continued for the small but strong percentage of loyal true lovers. The EDP* is the best you can still get today but you have to search for this in the discount houses. And then be on your toes when there is a cache discovered, take out a loan and buy all that is available. Like the name True Love for this scent is exactly that. We remain True to our Love. * EDP is Eau de Perfume which is the strongest and unswaying to the original *EDT IS Eau de Toilete is a milder more faint atestment toward the original
