My All Time Favorite
Once a favourite of mine.
Gorgeous but does not last.
This is for the bee bottle. Upon spray it does not disappoint. It screams vintage, powder, florals, wet greens. I can distinguish rose, hyacinth, galbanum, and a gorgeous basenote of powdery sweet spice. It is one of my favorite perfumes. Unfortunately mostly what lasts is a jergens hand cream smell on the skin. It does remain for a few hours on clothes, but not very loudly. It is very subdued after the first 10 minutes.

Another winning fragrance from Guerlain
This is now the fifth bottle of a Guerlain fragrance currently on my vanity table and as with all others it doesn't disappoint. I love the idea that Chamade is a rare fragrance, not easy to find and not available at every perfume counter at the mall. I relish being an individualist. That means I want to buy products that are uncommon. Chamade is that. This fragrance is a throwback to a richer time, a little bit vintage, more mysterious, less vulgar that some trendy label brands. If you're the kind of person who likes to be different, you might want to try this one.

Love, love it ! Lots of compliments.
My father bought for me from 17 yrs. Also perfume later. This is the best. Love Guerlain Chant d'Aromes too, but wish it came as EDP. Also L'Heure Bleu. These are MY signature scents .. so no, wouldn't recommend to anyone else !

Loved this Forever!
My husband first purchased this wonderful perfume for me in 1973 and I have been wearing it mostly ever since. I had read all about it in a magazine—-the making of it etc and it sounded lovely! So when we went to Paris for our tenth wedding anniversary, we found the beautiful salon of Guerlain and firstly I tried it! Then after we waited awhile, we both really loved it! We have been married almost fifty six years now and my husband still buys my Chamade every year. I have kept all the different bottles over the years and I love the scent of it every bit as much as the first sniff!Thank You Guerlain!

I don't know how I'd describe myself or the Chamade. It doesn't smell like it used to, all the bottles shown and the one I got, are different, and I don't really like it. Fortunately, it also doesn't last very long. Very disappointed.

Once a favourite of mine.
When I was young, Chamade was my favourite perfume and bath oil. I had nit used it for a long time, so when I spotted it on "Fragrances" I decided to buy one bottle of Eau de Parfum. I w as a bit disappointed with it, sadly, because this bottle was not as intense, nor as long lasting as before. Well, sorry to say, it's not at all like the one I loved before. I have to spray a lot more on me and my clothes. Mrs. D.

Crisp and spring-like
So very French, so full of spring flowering bulbs, and blended to not favour anything in particular, often compared with Chanel No 19, it doesn't have the same masculine vetiver to it. I bought a 50 ml EDT in one of the older style travel bottles and it has good staying power.

From an expert perfumer
Charade has hints of sandalwood and perhaps patchouli but the dominant notes are luscious florals which dry down to a graceful elegant fragrance. Far more complex than many perfumes on the market now but to be expected given it was created by a master - Jean-Pierre Guerlain.

Chamade EDT
I purchased the Chamade EDT because the EDP is too strong for me. It's a lovely scent; however I only gave it 4 stars because it doesn't last long on my skin. It's a shame because the EDT is so pretty, but it's gone within an hour or so. If you don't mind re-applying, then yes, I would recommend it. Also, the bottle is very nice.

My All Time Favorite

A Classic!
A beautiful classic perfume by Guerlain in the tradition of L'Heure Bleu, Shalimar and Mitsouko. Chamade could be worn every day without being boring. It keeps revealing itself in new notes as the day goes on.

Longstanding Favorite Fragrance
My husband bought me my first bottle of Chamade after we married in 1982. I got so many compliments when wearing it, that I never stopped.
