Gorgeous scent
Gorgeous! Starts with an intriguing blend of rose and leather, drying down to sandalwood. It's absolutely lovely ~ not cloying and not overpowering. It is feminine but very much like a steel-willed woman wearing a silk gown!

Cabaret top note is quite strong but the base nose is really nice & sexy. it lingers . It smells better after when it is dry or few hrs. No need to retouch. I think it stays in my clothes even for 3 days . Remember less is more.

Naughty but Nice Fragrance
I'd call this fragrance a manifestation of what many men want...The nurturing mother and the fantasy-inducing "bad girl", all wrapped up into a fragrance that has no competition. It's extremely unusual and I don't think you'll ever smell this on another. It's uplifting and comforting with a vibrating undercurrent of complete sensuality and abandon. It is so unusual in that it dances between the two beautifully throughout. It finally dries down into a comforting kind of musk/powder smell, but the bad girl still lingers. I came upon this by accident when ordering samples from Fragrance X several years ago. I believe this will be one of my signature scent for the rest of my life. The fragrance is NOT for cookie cutter cuties...It just wouldn't work.

smells like expired product
i got the GEL for shower to try this smell before buying perfume. there is something oriental/spicy in this scent (i will probably buy the perfume), but mostly it smells like expired product. for this quality it is just a waste of money.

great forgoten fragrance
I love Cabaret from Gres, and this time I went for body shower. Knowing that is not the right thig, I washed my hair with it. I was pleasantly surprised how clean my hair is, and stay the same for even 5 days!

Enveloping bittersweet goodness
The best budget fragrance I have ever tried; does not smell fake/synthetic (for the most part). Warm, enveloping, bittersweet, like a garden in late summer, fresh scents mingling with some overripe ones. Not too powerful, good for any occasion, day as well as evening, if you are not too fussy. The only thing it is missing is more complexity. The only criticism I have is that the patchouli note can be a little jarring and artificial sometimes, in the middle phase.

This perfume was originally bought for me as a gift about 3 years ago. I have never regularly worn perfume, as I usually get a headache. For some reason, this perfume agrees with me and I wear it daily. Although it is light, I still receive nice compliments regarding the scent.
