Marc Jacobs Violet Disappoints
Violet has very wonderful fragrance notes, but it smells very generic, ordinary. The notes do not come together in a redolent chemistry balance. I have returned this fragrance for a refund.

A delight!
I'm not normally a daily perfume wearer, and I really dislike overpowering perfumes on other people. However "Violet" is absolutely delicious. It's delicate, feminine, earthy and subtle. It's fragrance last for many hours longer than I'd expect for an EDT. Although the bottle is very large, heavy and bulky, it also encourages me to leave it on the bathroon counter and use daily- knowing I'll be leaving a subtle fragrance in my wake.

Marc Jacobs Violet
I really love this perfume. It is very light so you need to reapply often but, as I keep it in my office and really enjoy it, I like applying it often. The scent reminds me of smelling violets on a sunny afternoon.

fragrance
Since I love Marc Jacobs original fragrance, I thought I would love this one. For one thing it is called violet and the color in the picture appeared to be violet. I have a purple accent for my bathroom so I thought this would be great. Well I was very disappointed because the violet shade is more of a greyish lavender (VERY PALE and VERY GREY) and the fragrance is very weak.
