Chaumet Cologne by Chaumet, Chaumet is a men’s aromatic green cologne from 1999. It has fresh spicy, green, woody, citrus, and ozonic main accords. French perfumer Raphael Haury, who was working for Charabot at the time, developed this scent. Tea, bergamot, and grapefruit top notes start this work, which leads to middle notes of nutmeg, jasmine, vetiver, and mahogany. Musk, sandalwood, and amber base notes finish this piece. Chaumet is a luxury watch and jewelry brand founded by Marie-Etienne Nitot in 1780. Initially known as the Nitot jewelry house, the brand was the official jeweler to Napoleon I and Josephine in 1802. Jeweler Joseph Chaumet took over leadership of the company and renamed it after himself. The company headquarters, flagship store, design studio, and fine jewelry workshop are based in the Place Vendome in Paris, France.
