Fille En Aiguilles Cologne by Serge Lutens, Fille En Aiguilles by Serge Lutens is a unisex fragrance, suitable for both women and men. Translated from French to English, the scent’s name means girl in (pine) needles. Therefore, it is not surprising that the dominant top notes are pine and frankincense balanced with smooth vetiver, rich spices, bay leaf and smoky incense. The coniferous quality continues with a heart dominated by balsam fir, making it sweet with a pinch of dried fruit. Pine is a risky ingredient choice in perfumery. After all, not many enjoy a fragrance that hints of cough drops or cleaning supplies. However, pine is played beautifully in this well-balanced, warm and complex potion.

Fille En Aiguilles was created by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake and launched by Serge Lutens in 2009. Both its sillage and longevity are moderate. The soothing, comforting quality of this fragrance makes it an excellent winter selection or bold year-round statement for any gender. All products are original, authentic name brands. My new favorite

Smells like my cottage in Ontario. Absolutely gorgeous mix of pine trees and the cold beach of a northern lake in autumn. Amazing.

New unisex fragance by Serge Lutens

I love all Serge Lutens frangances. They are unique fragances that always draw comments from people. They are long lasting and because they are very concentrated with good fixers, last a long time. Fille en Aiguilles is a fairly new frangance. It is totally unisex, although maybe it is slightly more in the masculine range than other SL frangances. They are somewhat pricey, but the uniqueness of each parfum, the quality of its ingredients, and the concentration and stay levels merit the price. I recommend it fully!
