It arrived without the sprayer or lid. Unable to use.

Worldly Timeless Sophistication !
Simply one of the all time Greats and one of, if not, my favourite perfume. The fresh lemony opening is one of the best one can experience, the floral and sandalwood heart is smooth, with the dry down to a leathery Guerlinade bliss. The overall journey and notes experience is sublime, performance (sillage/ projection/ longevity) is outstanding. The impression is of refined elegance and sophistication; it shines for classy special events but is wonderful for any occasion and all seasons. If you like something masculine classic and classy, it is worth a try - for me, a must have. For what it does, it is a steal - great value too ! Highly recommended.

A really special and distinguished perfume for the ages i.e. a timeless classic! Fresh, spicy, vanilla leathery woody goodness that smells special, lasts long, projects well and is just a pure pleasure to wear. While HR has great versatility, it is especially suited for special occasions as it projects class, elegance and sophistication. Takes you on a fragrant journey, lingers around and you will get occasional whiffs throughout. I also wear it sometimes just to be in a good mood, also at the office, meetings and it also performs great in high heat. This is so good on so many levels that it's one of my favourites and I highly recommend HR! One I shall never be without.

This is a very nice sophisticated men's fragrance dubbed "the male shalimar" and it truly is. This could definitely be considered unisex. I layer this with shalimar and they compliment each other well.

I like it but it makes sense to me why it is called that.
This reminds me of a church or a Catholic Church Or a Monastery after burning incense. It's a nice smell. I would wear it at Christmas time. Or going to mass. But for those secular folks out there. An old library or a barbershop in the classic style perhaps. But that's with the scent evokes to me. Wear this when you wanna make a statement. That you're not the ordinary type person. This cologne is not for everyone. But it's not a bad scent. A Cleric or Scholars cologne.

This is a citrusy refreshing scent. Great to wear in the morning. I get alot of citrusy and lemongrass notes in the opening. The drydown is floral powdery vanilla. May not be suitable for younger men.

Power. Manly. Sexy.. A classic from Guerlain..
This wonderful creation from the Guerlain retains the spice and character of the original (mid 1960s) but being an eau de parfum strength, it's longevity is mind boggling. A light mist will still be noticeable on my forearm almost 48 hours later. Sick. Highly recommended for those seeking a sophisticated, unique fragrance that oozes class.

A classic fragrance that transends time.
I first purchased this perfume in 1965, age 12) the year it was introduced and have had a bottle on the perfume tray in the bath ever since. Met both my wives when they commented on the fragrance. Have tried numerous others but nothing I found can replace it. Two others I keep are a Paco Rabanne and a Lagerfeld. My wife loves the Shalimar parfum, as do I.

Pure Class in a Bottle
Guerlain's Habit Rouge is a true class in a bottle. It is one of the best rose based fragrances for men out there in the market. It opens with a prominent bright lemon note. It quickly turns into a leathery Rose-sandalwood combo. The rose-sandalwood combo is supported with the Guerlain signature powdery cumarin base. It is true class top to bottom. Very sophisticated and elegant. This one is a more formal/special occasion fragrance for me.

Absolutely amazing!
I had to purchase this for my boyfriend. Learned it was a signature fragrance of front man Hutchence from INXS And a few other celebrities. It's a distinct scent and not for young men or teenagers. It's classy and tantalizingly beautiful. Highly recommend it!

I'm impressed. Definitely for a mature and classy man
A difficult fragrance too describe. It's floral, the rose is ever present. I smell orange, vanilla and that typical Guerlinae scent. This is for a mature man. From casual to a suit and tie. The edp is much smoother and perhaps more modern than the edt. I would definitely qualify Habit Rouge edt, edp and L'eau (the latter definitely modern) as absolute masterpieces. It took me some time to appreciate Habit Rouge, literally about 40 wearings and then it hit me. This is one of the greatest perfumes ever made, but to be fair it is not for everyone!

This is what my sweater drawer smells of. This is an unusual cologne that starts off with citrus/sweet smell and winds up spicy/sensual. I get very positive comments on it. I occassionally switch of with Guerlain L'Instant, a nice compliment.

I used Guerlain Habit Rouge usually during evening . A compliment getter and usually people noted the citrusy flavour . Sadly,doesn't that long enough to get lucky with the women :). Yes, a good fragrance but a lot better options.

Every day when I spray I am hit by a familiar mist of nostalgia. It is not the same sharp edge of 50 years ago. One can find about the notes and read ingredient lists. But, the real test is how does it work on each person's body. Habit Rouge ("habee rouge") is classic Guerlain. Rich broad oriental. Some might find it cloying or "old." It seems to be a love it or hate it thing. In any event, it is Paris in a bottle. Paris of last century or two. Pate fois gras with a glass of sauterne. Private dining rooms and silk brocade. The feeling of Moulin Rouge. The dry down and long lingering impression is a warm hug that makes me happy.

I have both the EDT and EDP. The EDP is my favorite of the two even though the EDT projects better. EDP Is great from start to finish. It's cozy and perfect for cooler weather or for evenings.
