So...I did not like this the first time I sprayed it. It's very dark, smokey and powerful in the beginning. But 30 min later it is a different animal. So well blended and the drydown is perfect for an 80s style smokey, woody, oak moss green scent. This is simply wonderful. Kind of like a dark green smokey Drakkar Noir if you will. Love Love Love...but it took a few wearings that I almost didn't give to this fragrance. Try it a few times, the first impression isn't exactly what you get here. Amazing hidden gem!

I have bought this men's cologne again and again
I have used the classic open for many years. I call it my "Green" scent. Although I can pretty much wear it for all occasions, due to the sophistication and elegance of this classic, I choose to pair it with all green, and relaxed casual clothing style. Particularly textured fabrics rather than a crisp sharp look. This is because of how the scent reacts to my skin and makes me feel. Subtle, yet lingers, lifts my spirits with a smile and I feel uplifted.

I discovered this in 1988
Been using "Open" for the last thirty years and ever since I have used just about every top of the line cologne and after shave but this stays on top of my list....the fact is that in the office if someone want to know about me the usual answer is yes we have smelt him around; They have come to identify me with this unique one and only woody earthy smell....great stuff

Bascially just not all that impressed - smells like Talcum/Soap and not much else. Maybe works for other people - doesn't last on me either. I go by compliments by female friends and co-workers and they mostly say, you smell clean and fresh, or, i like your soap...not what i was looking for! Maybe just out of fashion in today's world but i don't think i would re-supply with this.

Amazing scent...
I get SO many compliments on this. Best of all, it's not readily available, so you'll smell unique. It's a classic cologne from the oldest fragrance company in the world, and at this price, it's ridiculously affordable. Shhh....don't tell anyone.
