Massimo Vidal launched the Pino Silvestre brand in Venice, Italy in 1955. This cologne comes in a luxurious, gold package. The shiny metallic color hints at the uplifting fragrance within. The liquid is contained in a chunky, square bottle, both masculine and classic in shape. The gold motif is once again incorporated into the design. All products are original, authentic name brands. Not at all as expected!!
I own both the original Pino and Pino Sport...both of these are EXCELLENT!...Pino 50 however.....not so much...one really needs to spray on a lot of this juice to be noticable...even then, remains very weak, very close to the skin...not long lasting at all!!...GRAB FOR THE SPORT EDITION instead!!

Mixed Feelings!!
Even though, "vanilla" is not part of the ingredients, I can easily say that when I wear this i smell a fresh vanilla mixed with mandarin orange. What's interesting about it is that the first note starts with Vanilla & Mandarin Orange, then after couple of moments, the Italian patchouli along with bergamot come to play and stays there for 5 to 10 minutes MAX. Then, you smell the Vanilla and Orange back again and stays there until the scent disappears!! For me, this is the first experience with Pino Silvestre, and honestly I'm not quite sure if I really liked it or not. I've always had a mixed feelings when wearing this, maybe just me. Doesn't Hold more than 2 hrs. Again, the transition between notes is not as great as you would expect, At LEAST NOT FOR GUYS IN MID TWENTIETH!! In overall though, it's a decent one for the price and value.
