Phileas Cologne by Nina Ricci, This gorgeous fragrance for men was launched in 1984. It is designed to leave a long-lasting impression of complexity and masculinity and does so with woody aromas of dry oak moss and pine. Phileas is a layered cologne, with aldehydes and juniper berries as top notes. Its middle notes include jasmine, cinnamon and patchouli. The well-rounded cologne’s base notes include leather and tobacco. Quintessentially masculine, it is easy for this fragrance to seem overbearing, but the craftsmanship that has gone into it allows the floral aroma of its top notes to linger and adds a touch of freshness to a bold fragrance.

Nina Ricci is a well-respected company in the fashion industry. The fashion house, which is a subsidiary of Puig, has been around for almost a century. Revolutionary in its time, the fashion company undercut other haute couture brands such as Chanel and Lanvin. OLD FASHIONED SPICE

A Classic Gentleman's fragrance,nothing girly or synthetic about the smell. Quite unique with ginger and spice in the basenotes. I can only liken this to Aramis original or Yatagan by Caron to generalise on the group of fragrances that it is similar to. As far as I can see this has not been made for a while but the bottles I received from FragranceX were in good condition and smelled just as I remembered 20 years ago.Wish Nina Ricci would produce this again.

Unique vegetal chypre

Rich, spicy, warml,complex but balanced with herbal celery note on top. Quite old school but very unique, Phileas was longtime ago discontinued and has become rare.
