4711 can be worn by men and women. I use it most of the time. It works well for formal and informal circumstances. It draws compliments, and never once has anyone complained about it being overpowering.

There is one other thing which makes the case for 4711. It makes one feel better. I know this sounds odd, but many others who use 4711 have also noticed it. It is especially refreshing on hot days, and is reviving when one feels under the weather.

          I use this as my Go-to cologne, it has a fresh clean smell and draws more compliments than an array of expensive colognes that I own. Defintely an forgotten fragrance that should be remarketed as this one could easily go for a lot more $$.
