Bazar Cologne by Christian Lacroix, Bazar by Christian Lacroix is a delicious citrus-and-spice aquatic fragrance that is perfect for spring or summer wear.
The top notes are vivid and refreshing, mingling cooling green melon, grapefruit and the bittersweet florals of Japanese yuzu fruit with the clean licorice accords of lavender. As this brisk introduction begins to settle, the citrus effusion of the opening warms to a wood and spice heart of cedar interfused with balsamic-fresh fir resin and
sweetly aromatic caraway seed. The finish is a subtle, soothing blend creamy soft sandalwood, oak moss and amber. This scent was first released in 2002.
The French designer Christian Lacroix launched his own fashion house in 1986. The brand began releasing fragrances in the 1990s, starting with the oriental floral perfume for women, C'est La Vie. House scents were created in collaboration with perfumers Nathalie Gracia-Cetto, Francoise Caron, Carlos Benaim, Laurent Le Guernec, Yves Cassar, Pascal Gaurin, Beatrice Piquet, Nathalie Lorson, Edouard Flechier, Jean Jacques, Sophia Grojsman, Michel Girard, Jean-Claude Ellena, Emilie (Bevierre) Copperman and Bertrand Duchaufour.
