I owned Salvador Dali in the 90's. It was a powerhouse. One of the most unique men's fragrances ever created. I bought this from FragranceX a few weeks ago based on that nostalgia. What a terrible mistake!. It is made by discount French perfumery Cofinluxe. It has been reformulated, very terribly reformulated. Just a shadow of its former greatness. I'm so disappointed. I want to return it, but after reading FragranceX's return policy for Canadian customers, I might get half my money back. Huge dissapointment.

AMAZING + CLASSIC + ICONIC
Amazing fragrance I have used since 1995 and as it became totally extinct in Europe I have been buying from FragranceX ever since. I am so happy it's not widely available as it means nobody else wears it. I have never even questioned Dali as an artist and since I saw this edit I knew I had to have it. Totally in love with the woody, mossy and herbal notes in it.

This is one of the most fabulous fragrances I have ever encountered! Cheers to my friend to show me this find! Every single person who you cross with will ask you about it! The smell only gets better with time. Everytime they ask me to smell it, it was at least two times. One person asked to sit right next to me while dining so they could smell it for longer. Crazy! This one has this confortable smooth smell, but one that wants to make you ask questions to yourself, like: "Have I smelled this before?" , "Let me make sure of what I am smelling...", "Is this kourus but better?" Fantastic! The more.it stays in your skin, the better! Projection is out of the roof! It also lasts for days! Even after shower it will remain a little bit. Even when I did laundry it stayed a little bit on the clothes. Definitely not a fresh summer breeze beachy fragrance, but one that you can use in all kinds of night events!

I love Salvador Dali but this fragrance even though it is very strong and unique it just can't fit in today's culture and fashion. It is an extremely dated scent. However the bottle and presentation are cool if you want to buy this as a collector's item.

Good vintage cologne
I'm an older gentleman but I hate to smell the same as every other man so I look for niche or good vintage smells. I used to wear this many years ago but it has not lost its appeal. Strong stuff. Very unique smelling fragrance best suited for a more mature gentleman with an elegant, unique taste in fragrance. Someone more adventurous. Doesn't smell funky or animals or medicinal. It is a nice powdery woody earthy smell but very much an old school take on this vein of Perfumery.

Great smell even though fragrance was launched back in the 80s it doesn't smell dated. Most guys that are still into classic manly scents will definitely enjoy this one. Awesome longevity for an edt projects well for the first 2-3 hours and still get whiffs of it after 10+ hours.

Worth trying.
This is a great product. This Woody fragrance will last a long time. You can use it anytime. However i find that when you apply it there can be a strong smell that will last a few second, until the alcool in it evaporate and then the true fragrance remain. It is however a bit expensive compare to other similar product.

A Statement Not An Accessory
Salvador Dali pour Homme, is a deep, dark fragrance which shimmers with a myriad of notes during its evolution. This is not for the casual wearer of Acqua di Gio or those who wear CK IN2U, it's a statement rather than an accessory. It is best worn as an evening fragrance, personally, I love it and rate it as one of the most interesting and unique fragrances in my collection.

I've bought this perfume for my husband, this the only one which he use and like them best. They fit to him. I like this worm, spicy and little oriental smell on his skin. Form me this scent is very sexy, misterious and very masculine. Like its bottle, shape and size. And importnat fact: they are very rare, my husband have a unique scent :-)

This is my fragrance
I was introduced to this fragrance 20 years ago and have treasured it ever since...it is actually difficult to get hold of in England now and back then was only sold in Selfridges and Harrods.....Whenever I have worn it women have always commented on it ...the smell makes me feel special.

An exquisite fragrance i
Actually I purchased this product for my boyfriend's birthday. We live in New Zealand - and I was completely unaware of the fragrance - you can't buy it here.
