I am Continuously Searching For This Original Stetson
I've used this after shave since the 1980's. When ever I wear it, I numerously get comments from others stating "Wow! What after shave are you wearing?" A while ago I purchased three large 8oz bottles of Stetson After Shave from FragranceX, and due to the fact that I cannot find it anymore, I'm using it Very Sparingly. . . not for me to run out of it. In my survey of classic men's colognes, good old Stetson held its own. It's the only one from the group that I will continue to wear-- I've worn it daily now since first getting my bottle, and I really honestly love it. It's quite different than what we think of as a men's scent these days, indeed it has a pronounced floral component, but this is why I love it-- it's unusual. A rugged looking man (like me) wearing a scent like this is a kind of strong and subtle confidence I can absolutely get behind, and I think that surprise element really gets people interested. It's quite a lush scent, amazing for something so inexpensive, with really great notes of woods and spices that dry down into a nice barber shop type scent that is distinctively masculine yet atypical. Very glad they're still making this, and it'll be a favorite of mine from now on.
