Classy timeless Elegance !
Pleasant, classic, timeless BFF. Guerlain is my favourite house and I love Habit Rouge, Vetiver, L'eau Boisee among others but this is one of may all time favourite perfumes ever! It is bliss from start to finish, takes you on fragrant journey as a composite of classic Guerlain frags. It is not a performance monster but it deliver give a natural pleasurable wearing experience you want to experience time and time again. After collecting more than a hundred perfumes, I recently came to a decision to reduce the number of fragrances I own in favour of the ones I want to wear and enjoy daily. Heritage is one of them; it is a great perfume for life with one of the Best dry downs EVER! Can't recommend this one highly enough. Try it but give it some wearing to get to know and learn to appreciate it. One of the Greats and very good Value too.

False tester image
The tester image shows the 2012 formulation in the old style bottle but I recieved the newest formulation in the new style bottle. Not too happy about this since the old bottle was the main reason I made the order. It's still a good scent, but buyer beware.

Nice every day wear
I like it. My wife likes it. I got it because people compared Danger by Roja to this. It's a sort of clone. It's good but not quite as nuanced and on me it feels pretty linear where as Danger transforms throughout the day.

Classic as the name states
This is a very classic masculine fragrance which is citrus and fresh in opening and has a woody character- its like wearing a fragrance which changes notes as it opens more and more. It lasts for over 7 hours but doesn't have a high silage but has that masculine suaveness to it. Best for daily use or even special occasions when you are dressed up and also can be worn casually but, its for mature men and has a very classy feel to its, might not be liked be younger men. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend it to men looking for a classic fragrance from the house of Guerlain.

Ohh yes what a lovely smell this fragrance is. People will notice you wearing good smelling perfume and it will attract them to linger around you. A very subtle yet last all day long especially at night.

EDT v EDP
It's interesting that EDT is more expensive than the EDP on this site normally its the other way round which tells you something I have both and to be frank the EDT beats EDP hands down. Although not the most expensive scent on the market I think its the one best suited to me. It made such an impression on me when I first smellled it back in 90s It does smell classy although I'm certainly not that and it does hang around a lot longer than other scents I own. I put it alongside Eau Savage Chanel Monsuir Givenchy Gentlemen as a classic male cologne. I am sure there are better ones out there for 3 times the price but who wants to pay over £200 for 100ml of cologne. It's not a summer cologne but more suited for cold days.

Elegant and Beautiful
Received EDP just two days after ordering, product as advertised and authentic. Blind buy based on reviews/research. Scent profile exactly aligned with description. It is extremely elegant, smells beautiful, oozes class. When I envision a setting in which you might come across a scent like this, I immediately think of an exclusive, classy restaurant in Manhattan or shopping in a high-end boutique. Not for a younger individual wanting something for a club or party, doesn't really suit a casual atmosphere either. I would use year-round, in the evening on a date or at dinner, or during the day in a semi-formal/formal atmosphere. Words that come to mind: refined, complex, rich, strong, confident. Performance is fantastic (4 sprays on neck pulse points) and projection/sillage excellent (not too much, not too little). It is an absolute steal at the price, great value. I highly recommend.

Wonderful Guerlain
I have been using this, and one other Guerlain product, for decades now. Habit Rouge is the other product, admired for its sweet floral tones. Heritage I first encountered in Paris - it is the perfect complement for Habit Rouge, in that it presents another superlative fragrance in an aromatic and spice-laden version. Both perfumes last all day on the skin, and will always be my go-to colognes.

Great perfume
I have for the first time, ordered "Eau de parfum". It is much stronger and lasts much longer. There is an adaptation period as for the dosage, and once its done, it is a perfect choice for me. Héritage is for me a sophisticated fragrance, for the more mature crowd. The connaisseurs will definitely enjoy it.

This is a super nice fragrance. It has a unique scent. You'll smell good and not like everyone else. On my skin I get a good 7 hours or so. People will be asking you, "What are you wearing?" This is not a very masculine fragrance, but for sure suitable for men to wear(Who knows maybe even women)

Guerlain's classic Heritage EDP is the stylish, well-dressed gentleman's warpaint. I get a smooth, creamy Sandalwood, Patchouli, & Amber opening with Pepper, Rose & Jasmine middle notes, then a Cedar, Oakmoss, Sandalwood, and Musk finish. Heritage EDP has soft projection, good sillage, and very good longevity at 8+ hours on my skin, and over 12 hours on my clothes. Heritage is classy, old-school, well blended, and masterfully executed. This is an elegantly masculine, unforgettably warm & inviting men's fragrance. The opulently homogenized scent is timeless. This fragrance hearkens back into Guerlain's rich, cultured, French pedigree. This fragrance should be a mandatory staple in a mature, tasteful, stylish, gentleman's wardrobe. Heritage... Classic Guerlain... a Stunner!
A masculine very refined presence (classic Guerlain ) that thankfully is all 4 season appropriate for me. I wear the EDT or the EDP daily in a professional luxury business environment. They are extremely similar but I find the EDP longevity to 8hrs 7 the EDT about 6. The EDP having a bit more rounder softer notes and a tad more projection, however neither is a screamer. Has a similar wearability to Jaipur which I really enjoy wearing in quiet romantic times. So this is a welcome addition. The compliments are few with Heritage, however I do notice the women seem to perk up and hover a closer... a little longer when they catch a faint whiff. I'll take that over a complement any day!

Timeless classic
Have bought this product 3 times from FragranceX; this time (oct15) the company price was similar to before, but I also had to pay a UK VAT Bill of £17.00 to DHL. Unfortunately this will deter me from using FragranceX again if import VAT charges are to apply to perfume products.

Subtle masculine scent
I am not yet so discerning that I can speak in terms of notes, sillage, etc, but I will say that after testing or purchasing well over 100 men's scents this is as near to perfect I've found. This is includes some higher mid-range EDT's and Colognes. I've not found what I'd truly call a 5 star (perfect) scent but 4 stars is too low for this one. Heritage is an appropriate name as it does evoke a by-gone era in that it is classically masculine. Spicy, woody but not overpowering, or cloying. A refreshing change from the so called masculine scents prevalent today which are too powdery, or sweet, and far too common. The "Tester" version is probably the best deal you'll find on the market today for a scent of this quality.

I'm an addict!
Have worn Heritage for over 15 years. Tried others, but always come back to this one... It is such a unique fragrance. Just one inconvenient: I'm so used to it that I have to change to another perfume from time to time, just to be able enjoy it again when I come back to it!
