Sonia Rykiel is the eponymous fashion design house of founder Sonia Rykiel. She began designing clothes in 1962 while pregnant with her first child, unable to find anything to wear that fit. In a whirlwind of success, she was called “Queen of Knits” by Women’s Wear Daily in 1972, and went on to live up to her reputation. Her daughter Nathalie Rykiel was chosen to succeed her mother as president of the company in 2007. The company released its first fragrance in 1979. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Unique Great Smell
Very interesting scent. Manly but not too macho (That's true!) and not too sweet. Long Lasting and can be as a Signature Fragrance. Highly recommended.

Monstrous sillage, but not cloying
Great for fall/winter. I thought quorum and halston z-14 were strong, but then I tried rykiel grey. Of course, it's very different from quorum and z-14, much sweeter, quite pleasant. I wouldn't use it every day, of course. It's much too indiscreet for that.
