Halston Man Cologne by Halston, Released in 2009, Halston Man is an update to the 1974 original Z-14. Carlos Benaim was chosen to oversee the revision of the classic scent. The opening is a sharp, bright exclamation of passion fruit and citrus notes. The heart slides down to create a refreshing expression of lavender, cardamom and mint. The base notes are patchouli, musk and French labdanum. This cologne expresses itself best during the temperate spring and fall months.

Roy H. Frowick founded the Halston fashion house in the 1970s. The company name is borrowed from his own middle name which he had already been using as a professional moniker. Between 1968 to 1973, his fashion line earned $30 million. He sold the business to Norton Simon Inc in 1973 but remained as the principal designer. This gave him creative control and limitless financial reserves. While he began his career designing women’s clothing, he would go on to produce menswear, fragrances, luggage and handbags. Halston, always a good choice!!

Since Z-14 doesn.t stay with me anymore, I decided to try the update, Halston Man, it is refreshing, has a hint of Z-14, and it stays with me..............my wife likes it, so does my great-grandaughter, and that's enough for me!!!

Lemon Tear Drops

A breathtakingly artful presentation in sympathy with a subdued reserved elegant fragrance. I prefer to apply carefully and reapply, for indulgence, once or even twice.
