Scannon is based out of Norway and produces colognes for men. Kanon was the first cologne the brand launched. Its parent company, First American Brands, has worked with a variety of other fragrance houses.
The cologne’s packaging reflects the earthy quality of the scent. The box is a mid-tone green, as is the bottle of cologne. The cologne’s cap is wooden, reminiscent of the woody blend itself. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Bad Luck Blind Purchase
This product smells exactly like Jovan Musk to me and that is the worst scent I have ever smelled. I purchased both fragrances based on YouTube reviews for good inexpensive fragrances. I wear Eau de Parfum usually from niche perfumers but I am new to the fragrance hobby and want to experience the highs as well as the lows of price point and quality. This, for me is a low. I think it is one ingredient that ruins these scents for me, some sort of genetic sensitivity to a particular aroma chemical.

Eau De Toilette doesn't smell like the cologne
I've worn the cologne since the 60's, however it's impossible to find in a retail store. I mistakenly purchased the Eau De Toilette a while back (the cologne is the product advertised in the picture above) and didn't notice that the product wasn't the cologne until after I sprayed some on myself. I had to shower it off - it smell's like cat urine. The cologne, on the other hand is one of the nicest, freshest and cleanest smelling fragrances I've ever smelled. I hope the cologne comes back into stock - the Eau De Toilette I bought was poured into the toilette.

ABSOLUTELY NOT THE ORIGINAL!
If you've ever had the original, you know this doesn't work. huge Difference. Unless it's the hard wood screw top, it's not the real stuff. You can also tell by the cheapness of this product. Others have the original at about $90.00 for the screw top fragrance

Not the 1966 Blend & Not Good
The original kanon was a pleasant affair: nicely packaged in clean modern lines. The cologne was also a clean, woody fragrance both pleasant and simple. But although mostly linear, the original fragrance dried down with a very interesting woody, earthy base note. The new edition does a better job by far getting the packaging right than the fragrance. The new fragrance is not wearable.

Grandpa
Bought this as a present for my fiance. Did not like it. Has an old man cologne smell. He opened the box at work and as soon as he did his maanger who sits across from him and is over 50 years old warned him that it would smell like something your grandfather would wear. Returned the item and got a refund.

An excellent product
Here is a product I have used for many many years. A product that as others have expanded, this one has become almost impossible to find. I suppose there is an explanation as to why this particular product has all but disappeared but I am confident if the full range were once again available sales would soar. This is part of what used to be a full range of superb products, too bad it is so hard to find. I am really pleased I found FragranceX otherwise I would have run out of Kannon a long time ago.[...]

Superb but extremely hard to find.
Here's another example of a high quality product that with the exception of Fragrance X seems to have completely disappeared. Have been a Kannon user for more years than I care to remember. Would most certainly use everything else they used to offer if they would only get their act together and relaunch the entire product line. Anyone who's already shopped at Fragrance X doesn't need me to tell them the service, the pricing and every other aspect of dealing with them rate at the highest end of the scale.

finally found kanon
I started using Kanon when I was 18 years old. I am now 63yrs. and about 20yrs. ago Kanon disappeared from retail stores. I have been looking for the same Kanon all this time with many imitations given to me. Finally I found it on line and to my surprise it was the same product I used when I was 18.

A true example of a timeless fragrance
This fragrance is a blast from the past! I had used it in the early 60's, but alas it went out of production. Real Treat to Find a Hard To Get Product

Sexy Manly Scent
I love this scent on a man. It's not common, or even well known but my husband used to wear it. Thrilled to find it again - it is simply the sexiest scent possible. Not remotely "perfumey" or over done. I can't wait to surprise him with this. It's a gift for both of us - it's that good.
