Peculiarly, D by Alfred Dunhill reminds me of good things during times of distress. It reminds me of safety. Of serenity. Of comfort. Of courage even. While being generic is expected out of a fresh fragrance, D is an exception. There seems to be an inimitable curtain of notes in the composition, enwrapping the lavender to make it more suitable to a diverse crowd. I bought this as a blind buy. With no regrets. It may not be signature-worthy, but it's great for days you need something refreshing.
