Disappointing.. doesn't even come close to the real one
Stay away from this product.. This is the first time I have been disappointed on fragrancex, this Incense by Givenchy is no way close to the original one and within 5 minutes you will lose it. The aftermath of wearing this cologne is a terrible headache!!

Nice perfume
Someone gave me this perfume as a gift a long time ago and I loved it, then I tried to look for it again but it was too expensive until I found it here in FraganceX; however, something might have changed from the very first one I got because I feel like this one doesn't last as much as the first one and its scent changes from the first time you put it on to a couple hours later. It's still a good fragance though and I'm glad I was able to find it here.

I wanted to try it because of the high ratings of the original Insensé (which I wasn't impressed by) This Ultramarine version is actually more interesting and brighter i a way, but noting I will use on a daily basis. Its' sharp flowery/aquatic and smells a bit synthetic and cheap. Leaning somewhat feminine too... After it settles down it smell kind of fresh like a strong shampoo or hairspray..... sort of.

disappointing
had been keeping an empty bottle in a drawer for many years as Givenchy's Insense was one of my top 3 favourites EVER. Assuming this is not a knock off it is a bad remodel of the original, smells like cheap deodorant + lingers in a bad way; there's a very artificial element that dominates all other notes; can't use it.

Big fan of Givenchy
I recently added this fragrance to my Givenchy collective use. Like Givenchy Gentleman this Ultramarine has a unique scent that stands out above many other scents I have tried. I receive more attention when I am wearing a Givenchy scent. As far as price, I think it is reasonable for how often I use it and you don't allot.

Very Potent
I used to wear this years ago so I got a small mini bottle.It is a combination of aquatic scents at first which transforms into a oriental herbal scent.It is VERY strong and if you love oriental scents then this is for you,I found it a little overpowering as it literally lasted 10 -12 hours and after washing it off still remained even after a shower.It's not quite for me but again it is potent stuff,I just prefer lighter scents.

Insensé Ultramarine (Givenchy)
I generally dislike aquatics, not because I dislike the concept of smelling like cool sea water on flowery tropical air, but because most aquatic fragrances come nowhere close to smelling like that. Insensé Ultramarine, however, takes a respectable stab at it. The salty marine accord that spikes its top and middle notes is boldly pronounced against a dense and palatable mélange of fruit and flowers. A peachy rose, circumspect jasmine, and dewy magnolia/cardamom arrangement flesh out this perfume's core, and are smudged against calone and ambergris. A bit synthetic, and more than a little saccharine, yes, but all within the bounds of the prevailing zeitgeist at the time of Ultramarine's release. This is a '90s fragrance, with all the bells and whistles that came with aromatic scents of that decade. My main gripe is that a chemical-smelling salt note in the top and middle movement of Insensé Ultramarine is too loud and unbalanced. If you think you're getting a refreshingly sweet floral aquatic for men, you're in for disappointment. If you're expecting something that smells "sporty" or metallic, look elsewhere. This is a big, bawdy, blue-dyed French perfume, disguised as a masculine, and that's reason enough for me to explore it.
