Guerlain Homme Intense opens fresh with rhubarb, mint, and lime with a floral/rum combo underneath and a green, woody base. It's sensual and exotic without that beach vacation vibe. If you want to smell unique, detest the generic norms, and like a manly evening fragrance without that youthful playfulness, this fragrance is perfect; for males 24+; performance seems on par with the original formulation (I have an older bottle too). This is my go-to summer date night scent.

GUERLAIN HOMME INTENSE is one of those fragrances that announces your arrival before you even enter the room!top notes of mint and rhubarb fade into a warm heart of floral notes and rum and the base includes a unique blend of vetiver, patchouli and cedar. The drydown has a woodsy feel which is great and amazing. Powerful,Woody,Charismatic,Classy, Artistic and long lasting.in fact it has more charisma and oomph than original version.This EDP is a perfect fragrance for OFFICE,because it makes you feel competent and strong.it is great for AUTUMN weather and one of the best in the last years from GUERLAIN this phenomenal perfume house. Sillage?Excellent Longevity?About 9-10 hours on my skin. 9.5/10

Guerlain Homme Intense is extremely refreshing & uplifting with its beautiful combination of crispy smelling herbs, freshly crushed mint leaves & the brilliant mojito vibe. It succeeds in feeling quite distinct with its cold herbal freshness and its kind of metallic & scratchy at first but classy & elegant at drydown, boozy-vetiver accord. A great choice for literally any occasion, any mood, any climate.

One of my favourites
I really like Guerlain frags, and this one shines the most for me. I like the peppery mojito opening, the pepper base lasts for 12 hours easily, mojito fades after 4 hours. This frag is a definite compliment magnet, lasts as long as you want it.

Unique and Elegant
Guerlain's Homme Intense is pure, understated masculine elegance. The scent is unique and classy. This can be worn as an everyday, casual fragrance. Citrus, Bergamot, Mint, and its floral counterpart, Geranium, gets Guerlain's unique touch that elevates the ingredients to another level-as only the French can-to the realm of pure, understated elegance. You have to experience this fragrance to understand what I mean; It's a homogeny of rich, deep elegance. Homme Intense begins with citrus and mint, that transitions to a warmer heart of Rum, Geranium, and woods, segued to an incredibly refined dry down that showcases an earlier time, that old-school vetiver note, making this scent greener with a distinctive grassy-floral accord. I don't get a mojito vibe with the Mint and Rum. Imagine the best quality possible, presented in a bright, warm, cozy blend. The scent is clean, mostly mint, greens, and wood. Home Intense is perfection; formal, yet contemporary; ideally suited as an everyday fragrance for the mature, elegant, natural man. Fresh and sensuous, this is my idea of urbane sophistication in a bottle. Guelain's Homme Intense EDP and Ungaro III were the best blind buys I ever made. Don't pass this one up!

This is an extremely elegant and classy fragrance. Smells just perfect, and draws a lot of compliments. After trying it for the first time, I just discovered that I was supposed to have Guerlain Homme Intense as a number one smell since a long time ago...

Great alternative to the usual suspects
Guerlain Homme Intense is an excellent choice for men who are looking for something clean and fresh but more interesting and unique than the usual department store best sellers like Bleu de Chanel, Terre d'Hermes, etc. Guerlain Homme Intense doesn't smell like any of these other fragrances but it can be worn in the same applications/occasions. It's pleasant, crowd pleasing, masculine and extremely versatile.
