This fragrance is very nice. It is definitely a lighter smell with 'cool breeze' types of notes. I am not huge into colognes, and I have used this smell as one of only two in my rotation for a few years now. My biggest complaint with it is that is just seems to be missing a little bit of a punch. It is very subtle and great for some situations, but in others, there is more left to be desired. You could use this every day and smell as though you have just taken a shower in the sense that it masks any bad smells, but if you are really trying to grab someone's attention, you might fall short as it is not that strong. You really have to use quite a few sprays in order to get a true smell, and even then, it doesn't last all that long. It's not necessarily a 'compliment-getter' either, but as I said, it will still leave you smelling fresh. As such, I have to say that, although this fragrance has a very nice smell, I would not recommend it to a friend just because I think you could find something a little better at the same price point or even a little cheaper, but if you have the money and want something just to use whenever to make you feel fresh, then by all means go for it. However, perhaps you should look towards CK Eternity or Armaf Club De Nuit Intense if you want something that will really draw in the women.

Not what I expect
I received shipment on time before my travel but I was surprised that there was no cap on the bottle so I had to put the bottle in plastic bag so it will not spill. The smell does not last as long as the bottle that I bought from department store.

Tried it at a dept store & loved it.
Tried both Lacoste Essential and Essential Sport at a dept store and loved both of them. They had a promotion on, but even still the price was almost twice what I paid at fragrance. Essential Sport smells very shower fresh, but I find it doesn't last long.

Great Smell, Poor Longevity
This a great everyday casual smell. Ice cold grapefruit. Perfect for when your in enviroments that have close proximity (i.e. school, work) and hot daytime activities like going to the beach or park. Unfortunately it doesn't last long...at all! I get 2-3hrs at best w/ this stuff before I have to reapply. You loose any real projection after about a 1/2hr. Then it just stays close to the skin. Couldn't over spray this if you tried so use liberally. Anyone who says it last long is probably a paid review. All and all its a great casual sport scent. So it does what its intended to do. I would recommend purchasing the pack that includes both essential and essential sport vs just purchasing sport. Both are safe blind buys.

The Real Thing...and Cheap too!
I purchased this product for my almost 20 year old son, this is his signature fragrance. He uses this when he goes out, which is everyday, and it was becoming expensive as it was being purchased from a department store. I found you on line and ordered a gift for someone and since then I never looked back! You offer the same authentic products, packaged in the exact same manner as those found in the department stores for a fraction of the price.
