Santal Blanc Cologne by Serge Lutens, Launched in 2001, Santal Blanc is a men’s woody chypre cologne with woody, powdery, warm spicy, musky, and balsamic main accords. Developed by perfumer Christopher Sheldrake, who was with Quest at the time, this scent is a collection of white sandalwood, pink pepper, cinnamon, musk, and iris. Best for fall day wear, this fragrance has moderate sillage and longevity and can also be worn by women.

Serge Lutens is a French man of many talents, which include fashion design and perfume creation. After a storied career that has included hairstyling, makeup artistry, photography, filmmaking, marketing, and package design, Lutens helped Shiseido launch a joint luxury perfume house, called Les Salons du Palais Royal, featuring his own scents and those of the Japanese cosmetics company. In 2000, he launched his own niche perfume venture, with Shiseido’s financial backing. His earliest fragrance was released in 1991. Besides fragrances, the brand offers scarves and cosmetics.
