The Ralph Lauren company was established in 1967 by the American fashion designer of the same name. His brand is perhaps best known for its Polo line of clothing for men and women made popular in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The brand sells a variety of garments that range from casual to formal wear.
Lauren began by selling a line of fashionable men’s ties and soon worked his company’s way through the fashion market. After gaining success in Bloomingdale’s, the company opened its first stand-alone store in 1971. The earliest fragrances by this iconic brand were released in 1978, and dozens have been launched since. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

i want my Chaps back dang it!!!
I want the Chaps with the Brown bottle with the Western cap. I have used it for 25 years or more, ever since High School and I want it back!

Hard to find
This cologne was not available in stores locally. I was pleasantly surprised to find it here. I've ordered from fraganceX.com previously and will continue to order from them. Thank you fraganceX...I've never been disappointed!!

Nothing to shout about
I have used various products from Ralph Lauren, but Chaps 1978 disappoints me. The other "Chaps" (brown bottle) smells superior that Chaps 1978, but very difficult to source. Hope Ralph Lauren don't stop producing "Chaps"

Constant companion since 1978!
The original (not pictured here) has a more unique scent. The newer "Chaps" is great, but I wish the 1978 (brown bottle / western cap) was more readily available. I hope Ralph Lauren doesn't completely discontinue the original Chaps cologne.

Its a natural for me
I use it in liberal quantity after showers at the beginning or end of the day and I add to the morning dose before going out in the evening.
