Lasts for hours and hours!
Tried the sample which is one of your great services. Even my wife commented on how much she liked it on me. The dry down settles into a smooth aroma that lasted for hours.

Newbie reaction
I'm new to buying fragrances and got this as a sample to try (there were only samples available anyway). Wow, had no idea perfumes can smell so peppery. This is a fragrance noob speaking, of course. At first the fragrance was odd and then as I got used to it, the brain registered it as something warm, definitely peppery, dry, calm. The final dry down (I've been reading up!) has a powdery subtle sweet scent. I live in the humid tropics (winter is non-existent). Peppery warm fragrances isn't recommended for summer weather but for some reason, i actually find this an excellent summer fragrance. Wish they bring stocks back for this. I'd buy them in a flash.

I am disappointed you can't reorder this stock I've been on your waiting list almost a year now and it hasn't been available only in the sample portions Per your survey question about me referring it to a friend no I will not because I like it so much that I would buy your whole stock however since you do not have the power to have it fully so I could refer it over ,I have to depend on the sample portions which are not adequate!

Sadly, the bottle has more wood that the fragrance does.. It should have been called "Rocky Mountain Flora". Thus, the 2 start rating out of principal. ( a fragrance should live up to its name and packaging, period.) Just to be perfectly clear: THIS DOES NOT SMELL LIKE WOOD OF ANY KIND!!! So if you're looking for a cedar, pine, etc type of experience - KEEP LOOKING! You will be far happier buying CDG Wonderwood, or Tam Dao by Diptique. The predominate notes in this's are violet and lily, with an "ozonic" base. Now, all the "non wood" warnings aside - this is actually a very nice floral, airy scent. It is very nice for office or casual wear. Completely non- offensive, completely unisex as well.. (Ladies should have zero hesitation about trying this despite the "butch" name and bottle) Projection is about arms length for 2 hours, then it becomes a skin scent. Longevity is surprisingly good. With 6 to 8 sprays I get 8 to 10 hours. And yes, you can spray on a LOT of this and have no worries at all about being too strong.. If you are expecting ANY wood smell at ALL - this will be a total diappointment. No resinous pine/fir/cedar forests here folks.. None whatsoever....

Worst experience
Don't expect to smell the violet in this fragrance it is a touch of violet all what you gonna smell is cedar and lots of papper and some bad woody smell my nose really dislike the smell its nothing like fragrance its like when you smell some chemical solution .. I heard a lot of reviewers who said its a new smell there are no fragrance like it .. I think they are right but in a bad way unfortunately.

Blind bought
I blind bought this online for my boyfriend. I kept reading reviews and decided to go with it. Knowing my boyfriend loves the outdoors I figured he would enjoy it. It smells like a cedar wood with a hint of spice under notes. It smells better then I expected! Supper happy! And so is my boyfriend!

This is a great frangrance!!!

By far the best woody mens cologne
It's a very woody, excellent outdoorsy kind of fragrance. There is also mountain-like freshness which is a great thing. Absolutely masculine. Could last a bit longer though.

Great all-round male fragrance
I was looking for an all-purpose fragrance for myself: to be modern but not looking teeny or "too gentleman", to have distinctive scent but by no "sweet" character. Wood Rocky mountain immediately stood out for me and for my wife. I like it's balanced woody character, being distinctive, but not extreme. Also, although it's never a factor for me for choosing a fragrance, can't help mentioning the innovative container with wooden frame.

Grew on me tremendously.
I started out being overwhelmed by the pepperiness of this cologne. It is freshly-ground pepper incarnate, a note which dies down only slightly throughout the fragrance's life. However, this is some *good* pepper, and the more I wear the scent, the more I appreciate the wood (sort of a paper smell to my nose) into which the pepper fades masterfully. I never thought that smelling like fresh, clean paper would be a good thing, but it is. I intend to wear this on a plane trip tomorrow -- not enough to offend someone, but enough to get a comment if a seatmate is so inclined. I'm curious as to what will happen.
