I remember this fragance as one of my favorite back in 1974. I was unable to find it in any store. When I found that your site carried it I anticipated its arrival. I'm not sure if they changed the ingredients, but it smells old as if it went rancid. I can not think of one positive thing to say about this bottle of Eau Sauvage Cologne by Christian Dior. I was extremely disappointed.

Comments about Christian Dior Eau Sauvage Cologne:

      # of Sprays: 3
      Sillage: moderate to heavy
      Longevity: 6-10 hours

This fragrance grew on me. At first the Myrrh note was making me a bit nauseous. it definitely has a Cream Soda smell that is heavy for the first hour and then the other notes marry with the myrrh and create something more balanced. great for work or evening. it's a mature scent but that doesn't mean an old man scent, someone who is mature and has confidence can pull this off at any age.
The top note is very close to the EDT but that's where the comparison ends. the EDP is more sensual and less citrus then the EDT when the dry down occurs.
i would try this before buying because of the myrrh bomb for the first couple of hours, it's not for everyone but i like it.
