Bijan Pakzad is responsible for this designer fragrance. In 1973, he left his home of Iran to set up his exclusive Beverly Hills boutique three years later in 1976. His boutique is so exclusive that clientele are only served by appointment. Pakzad released this fragrance in March 1987. Prior to its release, Pakzad first found great success with another award-winning perfume for men. The Fragrance Foundation awarded Bijan Men “Men’s Fragrance of the Year” in 1988. Extremely Crisp and masculine!
Nowhere near in resemblance to the women's scent. This is a very strong scent....very crisp and clean. Has a very spicy upfront smell....You can definitely get a hint of cinnamon on the back end. I would say this is a very business class / executive type of scent ... Probably favored by a more sophisticated woman.

Rich for Cheap
As far as cheapies go (30ml for under $10 CAD), this one is pretty outstanding "warm spicy" EDT. The abiding impression is camphor, more like burial ointment than cough medicine. There's strong citrus and spice notes, desiccated but not bitter. It feels big, bluff, and rather decadent, which fits the 80s heyday. The 30ml bottle doesn't have the iconic ring shape, but fits excellently in a pocket (the sprayer isn't capped, so putting it in a kit or bag might make your things smell like a Phoenician funeral). The camphor notes seem to fit evening best, but it works just as well on a sunny day. It mellows well in warm weather - a dry tornado of citrus and spice to start, then relaxed richness in about 5-10 minutes. The staying power on this is alright for an EDT, and it layers well with lavender-based fragrances.

Bijan Men Bijan for men 1 fl.oz
Bottle promises (1 fl.oz). Spray extremely bad, does not disperse the smell at all, literally a real jet. I'm not an expert but you can definitely notice lavender, carnation and cloves with many other ingredients. The scent is very pleasant and striking - winter. Although a real jet and a lot of scent found in one place on my skin lasts barely 2 hours.

My "signature" cologne.
I have used this specific Bijan for men for the past 25 plus years. I have tried other brands but I always have come back to Bijan for men. I usually purchase five (5) bottles at a time to make sure I do not run out.

This is a complex, mysterious, amazing scent. Warm and rich, it has something fairy and antique at the same time, as it came out from "One Thousand and One Nights". Very fast shipping, received in its original cellophane wrap, I'm totally satisfed with this great value purchase.

Love this cologne
My husband absolutely loves this cologne, so different to the ones usually found in stores. And the design of the bottle is unique. Bijan is a Blast
The closest fragrance that could be considered an aphrodisiac. The men and women will be all over you when you wear Bijan for men. I wish they could manufacture the packaging in a more environmentally conscience way, other than that, Bijan "rocks"
