Myrurgia, one of the most famous names in the Spanish perfume industry, was founded by the Monegal family back in 1916. Sculptor Esteban Monegal took over at just 28 years old and applied his artistic skills to help build the brand. It is believed to be one of the first fragrance companies to implement fashion branding. It also used classic art movements like Surrealism and Art Deco in its advertisements. The company, whose name supposedly means "Art of Perfume," is also known for its delicate bottles made of Bohemia glass. It remained in the Monegal family for decades before Puig Group bought the brand in 2000. All products are original, authentic name brands. We do not sell knockoffs or imitations.

Pleasant, woody/rosy scent
At the first spray it reminds me of EL Pleasures (even the bottle is almost identical) Perhaps due to dominant rose/musk note in both. But as the fragrance develops on the skin it becomes more woody, more sandalwood/rose/jasmine, at which point I get the association with Samsara EDT. Again sharing similar woody notes less the smoky Guerlain's signature. Overall, it's a pleasant day time scent, long lasting and at the fraction of cost of both EL or Guerlain's creations. It's virtually unknown and very underrated fragrance.

My mother always used this perfume, from her youth, is the only one she loves. It really helped to win my father. Really wonderful and charming
