Jesus Del Pozo is the brand behind this elegant perfume. He worked as a fashion designer for many years and became a famous figure in the Spanish fashion world. His brand house introduced fragrances in the 1990s.
Christine Nagel is the perfumer responsible for developing the overall aroma for this wonderful fragrance. When I got it I thought maybe it was leaking well it was went on a4 day trip over half of bottle leaked in my suitcase, I couldn't see were it was coming out it , anyway over half bottle gone only use maybe handful times, one of my favorites!

Nice but not for me. Body chemistry is a funny thing.
Nice frag, but not for me. It just doesn`t agree with my body chemistry. I find it too strong, but this may be beautiful on others. BTW, great company to order from and very fast shipping. Thanks!

Here's a winner!
I have been a Jesus del Pozo fan for many years. My favorite will always be Duende! Also own In White, Halloween (original fragrance), and Ambar. Just added In Black to my collection, and could not be more please with this scent. I highly recommend In Black.

Lovely
Can't buy this perfume any more in the UK bought it from fragrance X well pleased with there service and even though had to pay customs VAT duty it is worth every penny and a bargain. This fragrance will last all day and the comments that people pass when I an wearing it are always complementary.

Very strong and nothing special
I bought this because I thought it would be similar to La Petite Robe Noire but it is a very different perfume and I prefer Guerlain much better!

Because my body reacts to perfumes there only a few that I can wear, this is one of 4. I can wear Palamo and Euphoria as well but not any others that I have tried.

cherries on fire
I loved this perfume and is my first Del Pozo. The quality is really high class very unusual with a cherry, insence, vanilla combination. Its long lasting and the bottle is lovely. Surely a winter perfume.

AMAZING DELIVERY TIME!!
This is my daughter's favourite perfume & she loves it !! I ordered this online I believe 5 or 6 days before Xmas & believe it or not I received it delivered to my door Xmas Eve !!!!! wow & I live in Australia ........... Lovely, Dark, Mellow
This smell can be adjusted to your liking. It smells sweet and mellow on clothing and takes a darker, more pungent twist when on your skin. The darker notes are brought on by warmth and transform. An intruiging smell which I've never known. This is a must have for vampy/gothic styles from Fall to Winter. It can warm anyone up without exposing the mystery. This is a reasonably priced, well-composed perfume...don't be alarmed at the first alcoholic notes as they mellow within a few seconds. Shake before use and remember not to overdo it during the day, this one shines by night. Cherry brandy, faint licorice, lightened by lillies and violets topped off with smoky vanilla cream.

Sweet Bomb!
Be careful with this fragrance. Its very strong. It has kind of strong sweet cherry rum ,spicy and peppery notes. I saw some mentioned on internet about it's similarity to Lolita Lempicka's Midnight perfumes, but I have to say that there's not much in common. They're different. The only notes that reminds little bit of it is a licorice wood ,vanilla and some sweet background notes. This E.d.t is very sweet and seductive indeed. Don't spray too much otherwise your neighbours will have to evacuate!

Amazing, Sensual Sophisticated Feminine
I LOVE THIS!!!!! its definitely my top 5 favorite scents! I will re-purchase many more! Some people say it smells a hint masculine but not to me at all. I smell woody, soft spicy, powdery, a hint sweet, a hint fruity. It PERFECT! It smells like something you would pay a lot of money for. Its so luxurious, sophisticated & feminine. I am surprised this is an EDT because it lasts all day, over 10hrs. I washed my arms after I gave my puppies a bath & I can still smell this fragrance on me! Great lasting & projection power!

Dare to be different!
JDP in Black is bold, dark, and daring while still remaining remarkably feminine. I applied yesterday afternoon, and was still smelling it this morning on my skin, clothing, and even the sheets! Excellent projection, but doesn't choke. It feels a little heavy, but that's not a bad thing ~ great in cool weather/climates.

Mysterious, sensual and dark fragrance
In Black is definetly a night perfume to wear in winter, or in a cold night.So gourmand, but so dark at the same time. Superb lasting power and pretty good sillage.This is the perfect balance of sweet and fruity and floral. Jesus Del Pozo In Black is pure seduction!

a different fragrance
This is a different fume. A gourmand with a little touch of spicinness. I expected it more sweet but is not. The good thing is that not everybody wears this. It's a kind of spicy dark berry. I combine it with a really sweet parfume to get more silage.

I bought this fragrance purely on the strength of the list of ingredients and the smooth contours of the velvet black bottle accented with silver . Black cherry, black pepper, pink grapefruit, top rose, black lily, jasmine, violet,licorice wood, madagascan vanilla, moroccan cedar and indonesian patchouli conjured up a vision of a dark , midnight garden , the air heavy with the fragrance of exotic night flowering blooms. However , I was half prepared to be disappointed when the bottle arrived , as the ingredients , appealing as they may seem on the written page , need to be finely blended and balanced to acheive the perfect top , middle and bottom notes which have the quality to linger without overpowering . As the name of El Pozo was not known to me , I feared an overpowerful concoction of rather foul smelling, damply woody notes , and had almost decided to keep the bottle unsed , for display purposes only . However , on arrival , I found that I had sorely misjudged Senor El Pozo . The fragrance is deep , delicious and seductive , and quite unlike any other fragrance I have experienced . And believe me , as a collector of beautiful perfume bottles I have tried literally hundreds of them . The deceptively sweet notes of black lily are balanced by the slight undertones of the liquorice and cedar , and these are the lasting first impressions of this fragrance . Eventually it settles more to the cherry , rose and violet , creating a surprisingly subtle veil of heady and seductive fragrance . At first you may be forgiven for stepping back a little from this unusual concoction , but believe me , a little patience is well rewarded with a perfectly formed ,if distinctly alternative , scent . This is now ranking high amongst my few exclusive favourites , alongside such perfection as Viktor and Rolfe's " Flowerbomb " , " Delices " by Cartier and the new Van Cleef and Arpels " Feerie " , no mean acheivement considering how famously difficult to please I am ! Thank you Jesus .

My favorite perfume! Scent is very unique with soft cherry and sensual oriental undertones. Not flowery and not overly spicy. I have received numerous complements when I wear this fragrance.
