Black Tie Perfume by Oleg Cassini, Black Tie is a chypre floral women’s perfume with primarily white floral and floral main accords. Launched in 1998, it is recommended for day wear, mostly from fall through spring seasons. Lily-of-the-valley, osmanthus, apple blossom, and bergamot make up the head notes, leading to heart notes of honeysuckle, rose, jasmine, and gardenia. At the base are notes of oak moss, patchouli, musk, and vanilla. The flacon has a formality that suits its name, in a rounded glass that reveals golden liquid with a golden topper and a black string tied around the bottle’s neck.

Oleg Cassini was a Russian Italian fashion designer who was raised in Florence, Italy. At the age of 23, he moved to the United States to begin his career. He started designing costumes for Hollywood films before opening his fashion house. He was known for ready-to-wear dresses, with his pieces heavily used on television shows and Broadway musicals. Later, he became Jacqueline Kennedy’s personal designer. Cassini branched into fragrance, releasing the first scent in 1990. All products are original, authentic name brands.
